Because i am curious about this:
I am a noob and usually somewhere middle score… so i wonder right now if it is possible that i was the only human player in this battle.

gamepad icon means console crossplay - player
So bots are always PC “player”?
I asked myself that question before, and asked a console player that tries both crossplay on and off.
Bots CAN have controller icon. When crossplay is off they have no icons at all, but do have bots too, which means there’s also “console bots”. Usually for a console player, what they see are pc icons (when crossplay on), they don’t see controllers icons themselves.
Some “players” with controllers icons are so bad that they must be bots, I’m certain of it. A human, with or without controller icon will always play better than bots, or at least pop from time to time in a vehicle

If you click on a name and a “complain” option pops up its a real player, if it doesn’t its a bot.
PC bot are always withaut the gamepad icon
Console bot are always withaut the PC icon (if you play on console PC player have a PC icon)
If You play a crossplay match you see the bot like a player of your system
That’s wrong. When crossplay with PC is off, console icon means other console system (PS vs XBox). Strictly speaking all crossplay can be turned off but not by game settings. In this case you won’t see any icon indeed.
As far as I know bots are never marked by any icon.

If you are on a console like the xbox, you will get no symbol for xbox players or bots, you will get a game pad for playstation and a pc tower/monitor for pc.
