On the xbox one version of enlisted, when you reach level 7: Youll receive the 505TH Parachute Infantry Regiment, well when you look at its ensignia youll see that the ensignia posted/shown isnt even the 505TH’s ensignia, the ensignia on screen is actually the 82nd Airborn Divisions ensignia.

Insignia is from 82nd Airborne Division, which 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment belong to.
All in-game insignias are insignias of divisions not specific regiments.
Unless on Xbox version something is different.

This is not true.
Both the 113th Infantry Regiment (Flamethrower I squad) and the 116th infantry Regiment (Gunner III squad) are from the 29th infantry division. While the 113th infantry regiment uses the divisional symbol, the 116th uses the Regimental one.
This is just an example as it also applies to the 90th Infantry division with two different squads in the Normandy campaign.
The 82nd has also the 507th Parachute Regiment (Sniper II squad) which uses a completely different symbol.
