Please let us know if a spawn point is hard to use for handicapped soldiers (aka bots) or if it’s a death trap.
As we can’t talk on spawn screen and would not talk much in-game anyway, and can’t use other markers on map just the ones auto-assigned, please add two automatic new colors (or extra icons) for spawn points to the already existing “grayed out-enemy nearby/active battle”.
yellow: “congested spawn” where a lot of bots are trapped (= they wish to leave to follow leader but can’t. Those bots who are following defend order around spawn point do not count.)
red: dangerous spawn, around where many deaths happened in last… 20 seconds perhaps?
This is similar to the already existing active battle case, just with a little bigger radius and time frame, also it should not block spawn.
It’s not necessarily a troll spawn. I’ve seen enemy engineer building barbwire around our spawn, he could just as well build sandbags. I’ve seen tank camping and waiting for new recruits popping up.
EDIT: wait, I was building barbwire around enemy spawn. Dammit.
Some1 put a spawn point on the watertower, with loads of barbed wire and stuff so every1 had to jump to their death…
I dont know what why u cant just put a sneaky one in a good place, why these game breaking attempts to ruin the game for every1?!
its so stupid, in another thread a guy claims he dont even wanna play with the bots, so he traps them, well squads and bots is whats unique about this game so plz dont listen to those kinds of people devs, the squads system is a revolution in fps gaming and needs to be nutured, not “fixed” for people who dont even like it, there is other fps hc ww2 games out there, but instead they wanna break this little gem of a game!
Sure it might not be the first to try it, but first Ive seen who implemented it succesfully in a working manner.
Other FPS can learn from this. Its just fun to have the chaos of ALOT of people being around. Its also good for new players to get some kills on bots, but these people who wanna haxx the squads mode, I say, go somewhere else!
Today on berlin(axis) in invasion one guy place a rally point in the most high bulding of the map the bot has unable to go dawn from there and we lost the match because 6 player on 10 spawned here and the enemy rush on us on the graund, before we lost he say in chat HAHAHA LOL i dont say his name but the game need protection from this
yup, like the spawn on the watertower with all the barbed wire around, im getting sick and tired of people not wanting to play this in any team effort manner, its like, “oh look another game I can troll”… really fits very badly with the realistic HC type of game…
I can accept AA guns and anti-tank guns INSIDE, but like people just completly trolling the game like its freakin mordhau, that game got bad after the trolls took it over as well… it chases away a big group of players who actually liked the game and its mechanics, instead we get weebs trying EVERYTHING they can to break the game just cause they think “bots are bad” or “HAHAHAHAHA THIS IS FUNNY FOR ME ONLY”
Someone on forum suggested that if you in-game complain about a player, you will probably be not put with him in the same team afterwards. I don’t know whether that’s true though.
I report when I see people playing a game just trolling or playing a whole game like a few deaths and 0-15 kills just chilling somewhere with a sniper rifle or camping with a tank!
Sure! It would be good, but better would be that it autodestroys if it feels too many bots get stuck. Or u cant place them where bots cant decend/ascend. Its just not realistic and takes away from the gameplay I feel. Either u play with ur bots in a good manner or send them to die to play alone. But “storing” them somewhere makes me wanna quit the game. Sure it might be good for a mg, to go one at a time, but for the rest it just wastes time, and the map gets more empty for the enemy, so all in all I think bot storing in attics and such is a game breaking mechanic
This tactic adds NOTHING to the game tbh. And if u put a bad spawn point which like a tank can spawn camp, then its UR fault. Then take some responsibility and take it away, usually the spawnpoint dies if it gets bombed or whatever so its not always easy to spawn camp a spawn point with explosives cause ur gonna kill the spawnpoint even if u dont intend too, esp with tanks/planes.
I don’t wish to determine which playstyle is good or bad, it’s up to the players. If he uses the bots as second lives then it’s up to him - as long as I’m not tricked into the same game mode. So if I get warned somewhat, that’s great.
Actually if I’d pay attention, probably the map markers would already tell it (too many blue - suspicious) but if we’re pinned by a tank or something, that also can cause 2-3 squads to stay inside while a few guys venture out to deal with the problem.
I will stop playing if this is the future of the game, ur supposed to lead ur squad good, like if there is MG-fire dont run straight past its line of shooting, its just stupid, flank or atleast do a mass charge where atleast one person gets thru, this just compells people to play more cowardly and “save” their soldiers in a game breaking way
What Im seeing now is people playing “safe” in diffrent ways, grayzone camping, camping with tanks in the back, camping in the back with AAs, camping with snipers, all of this to be “more efficent” in their deaths… its superfun to defend against NO attackers, let me tell you that. Im not sure why u people even play this game… when all you wanna do is change it.
If u lead ur sqaud into an ambush you SHOULD PAY FOR IT. Sure its realistic to sneak off on ur own to do some scouting, but these are MASSED battles…
Trolls destroy every game cause they dont even like the game, the players who enjoy the game just quit since no1 wants to play how it was supposed to.
This is the present of the game. As long as bots are 70% more willing to die unreasonably than an average player (I don’t know, just wrote a number), then I think it’s up to the player to decide whether he wishes to waste tickets leading bots that do not really follow orders, or to try and save them for later for “second chances”.
Once bots are not stopped by barbed wire and sandbag, and take better cover, stop moonwalking all the time etc… That’s a different story. They need to train a bit more.
I agree it’s not a good way to play. But there is sound reasoning behind just as well as behind the normal gameplay.
In normal teamplay there would be scouts, communication and shared knowledge, at least proximity voice chat would help in that. Not just a few red arrows.
Ur making a good point with the communication. The red arrows just arent enough.
But, like, stop blaming the bots. I see pro players NOT doing this tactic, just watch quadro on youtube. What he does is he rushes the point, loses bots on the way there(as it should be) then just take the ones he have left, tell em to hold some hidden corner.
This is better approach than people JUMPING out of 2 story buildings to attack… like come on, it looks horrbile, people dislike it, and its not realistic one bit.
Just make spawn points like this auto destroy, would be soooo much better!
