Guys, I wanted to re-visit this again, I love Enlisted and I think yous’re doing a great job, however there is one fix I’d really like to see. Digging holes and getting a suitable surface for a spawn point is so janky, it’s been busted for ages now. It sometimes takes me so long to put down a spawn point our team captures the objective before I’m finished, could you please do something about this, pretty please with a cherry on top, thanks.
its significantly easier and faster now, I think you just need practice.
They need to code better or change the engine, and that’s not gonna happen.
You gonna have to practice more, 'cause it’s gonna still be janky to jump out of windows, dig, reload, walk, jump, charge with bayonet, etc.
The most likely Dark Force response to your request.
It feels like the dirt at Normandy is easier to dig than other places lol. Not even mentioning the fact that on some maps the good rally spots are concrete so you can’t dig.
To be honest, it takes too long to plant a rally as it is. The fact that you are taking all that time to dig a hole first is admirable to say the least . As for me I just do my best to hide my rallies in or behind anything that gives my team a safe spawn.
Better to just plop a rally down and sandbag it if you need to, instead of taking the time to dig the perfect hole.
Spending 15 seconds digging a hole in an open area is safer than spending 7 seconds protecting it with 2 sandbags.
In the past you could even see suicide infantry and camping players crying because of bomb shelter spawn points
I have tried digging a ‘wider’ circumference and that seems to help, but it’s still janky. The 2 or 3 sandbag approach seems to work for most players as far as I can tell. Which pretty much gimps spades and i love seeing them used, but essentially they are a waste of time, unless they can dig away enough terrain to prevent a tank crossing a choke point?
