can useless perks be removed from the pilot perk list? its annoying to level him up only to get useless perks like these
They are still trying to figure out a way to introduce planes in a way that doesn’t enrage troops on the ground (CAS spam), yet is fun for the pilot to play as well, so these perks may come in handy sometime in the future, depending on what solution they will choose to implement.
But yes, as it stands, these perks are useless, unless you’re trying to troll people (guilty) by landing in a lake, and fighting as infantry.
yeah bro here are some perks I came up with
Tactical Nuke: every bomb you drop kills everyone currently logged into the game
Wheelchair: the game flies and bombs for you
I got some historical perks that the axis could get:
Training:
- -20% focused vision,
- +20% time to recover flight stamina,
- -20% flight stamina
- -all pilots sent to academy get reposted to other front - none return at all.
Strategic bombing:
- Insufficient fuel - aircraft can’t take off, squad is unavailable for this game
- Allied Railroad raids catch troops in transit - “Frundsberg effect” - 10% of axis soldiers (by RNG) are unreplacable casualties for this game

LOL you could get creative on both sides with those not just the German teams.
Having said that, I think the perks are a clever addition to the game, they just need more development work to be more relevant for the given roles.
They are already on the right track in terms of choices around combat effects, endurance or health, they just need to get creative with options around flight stamina, black outs, etc
P.S, The med pack does not work for pilots atm - I can use a med pack when wounded as a tanker but not a pilot.
Yeah - I once posted that I thought expanding (or duplicating) the perks system to include weapon & equipment proficiencies would be a much more interesting way to handle who-can-use-which-weapon than highly arbitrary classes… needless to say it didn’t happen and the entrenched biases of FPS gamers roundly condemned something so radical too…
US pilots perks:
- “MuStAnG wOn Da WaR” - if a P-51 is assigned to the squad, the battle is automatically won.
- “Muh CAS” - +20% payload, -75% peripheral vision, -95% situational awareness
- “Dogfighter” - +200% belief that the plane can out-turn anything (WARNING - actual plane performance may differ)
- “A little trick” (available to Tuskagee premium fighter squad only) - a key can be bound to make the plane spin on the spot; .50 cals can destroy anything up to ships, buildings, the map, and the opponents’ PC/console.
- “Historical odds” - US can deploy 10 planes for each German plane in the air.
- “Half Pint” - P-47 becomes invulnerable to FW-190.
