I think it would be nice and informative if sirens could have different sounds for each faction.
Simply, when an American player would call an air raid on Japanese, a Japanese siren would play. And if it would be a Japanese raid, American one could be heard.
Here is few examples, they do sound different, the one we currently have in game is most similar to British seems to me

This will be useful for players who play with the original language of the announcer. Or for those who missed the message about the air raid in the heat of battle.
What a cool and interesting idea! The more each faction feels distinct, the better - and little details like this really add up. With enough pebbles, you build a mountain.
Now, this isn’t a suggestion or an addition to yours - I just felt like sharing what our modern air raid sirens sound like here in my native Sweden!
Here’s a video of the modern Swedish one. According to official sources, there are over 4,600 of them across the country. They’re tested four times a year - on the first Monday of March, June, September, and December, always at 3 PM. And yeah, they’re loud. I live about a mile from the nearest one, and it still sounds like it’s right outside my window when it goes off:
The signal usually means there’s some sort of civil emergency. Outside of the scheduled tests, it can be used regionally or nationally to warn about anything that poses a serious threat to the public—like a terrorist attack, wildfire, major chemical spill, or similar situations, not just air raids or other foreign attacks.
When you hear it, the general instruction is to head indoors, close doors and windows, and tune in to official channels on the Radio or TV for more information. Radios are designed to keep working even in major emergencies, and phones will typically work too unless it’s something really catastrophic. Once you know what’s going on, you’re expected to follow the new specific instructions - like evacuating, sheltering, or, in rare cases, reporting for civil defense duties if you’re able.
I like the concept, though I’d go even further and suggest it should be based on the map. In the context of where the maps take place, they are typically somewhere that is being defended by one faction and attacked by another.
