I just had a ridiculous duel with a P IIIJ, where it absorbed a dozen 75 hits, that penetrated and never died to my gun.
Seems like they’ve been messing with tank rounds without saying anything
HE for tanks like armed with the US 76 is near worthless and I’ve had someone else I know tell me the short 88 HE feels wonky now too
I feel like something is off with AT stuff in general.
The Gbr39 is no longer working like it did, and the arming distance on AT weapons feels like its doubled at least.

I feel the same way, multiple times I hit their ammo dumps with the AT guns, but it seems like the game doesn’t register the hit or something.
I wish they would stop dicking around and just go with the war thunder values.
Only problem with that is War thunder does a lot of dicking around of its own. But yeah, I have noticed HE shells seems to be nerfed quite a bit on every tank unless you direct hit some an infantry man, and there is a crowd around him.

To be honest I feel like it’s more of a bug than malice. Every other month the penetration mechanics and/or the fragmentation physics go kaput rendering AT ammo less effective randomly and making HE useless against infantry because of fragments not connecting to infantry respectively. I remember when they implemented the HE fragmentation simulation like a year ago and all of a sudden the Stuart’s he was actually useful against infantry. It was apparently a bug too.
