I saw Axis plane’s engine flew out black smoke but fade away after few seconds .Looks like the engine damaged had repaired.
I been saying that abought the alies… I been having to reload up to 3 times to just kill one guy. FW and JU188 maybe BF 110 are the only 3 that work right
best is il 2 you need to reload like 20 times
Black smoke is 9 out of 10 times an oil leak, which isn’t significant damage in and of itself.
1 out of 10 it’s a fire. In war thunder you could put out an engine fire by cutting the engine and diving, but I’ve never tried it in Enlisted.
It depends and this is related to all planes in this game.
I had situations when i destroyed Fw 190-D9 in just couple of 0.50cal shots but i had also situations when entire clip won’t make something dead, and I experienced this on both sides.
Especialy in Bf 110, you can fly and spray for entire game duration…
They might’ve also been WEPing and then stopped, engines will produce more exhaust when WEPing.
Feels like IL-2s are the hardest thing to down for me right now. I would say it’s latency issues but I have no problems downing planes from other factions/campaigns. Feels like they eat tons of rounds and I have to rearm twice before taking them out.
Russian Bias for sure on IL-2. It also turns better than any fighter in the game which is unrealistic.
Same goes for the T-34 in this game where IRL it has shitty armor that would break but in game its op.
I hate to say it but you’re absolutely right. I was so frustrated when I started the Battle of Berlin campaign because it feels like the T-34 can one shot the Pz. 4 from any angle.
Now I’m frustrated because the IL-2 is a flying tank but it can also out maneuver the Bf 109. To make matters worse, the JU-87 flies sideways
I never had issues with the FW. In fact its the easiest (German) plane in Normandy to shoot down hp-wise… at least for me.
A-8 or D-9?
A-8 explodes whatever hits it, D-9 seems more durable.
Oh. I keep forgetting that we have another FW now. Never met it before or I shot it down and only looked at Fw.
