got derailed but the original argument is very valid, and DF does like to hide what it does from its players(who still figure it out of course).
Just look at the constant shadow edits not present in logs.
Lacks of trasparency is always a bad thing, especially with how its managed by DF.

I have a series that I upload where I survive for longer than the average soldier, maybe even the whole game, and I can confirm that the longer you are alive, the less exp you get per action from the squad or soldier.
Which, IMO, should give infantry only type soldiers a bonus for staying alive that long so there is an incentive to staying alive and not drain tickets for the sake of a refreshed experience rate.

Indeed - which is a pretty poor philosophy TBH, for all the reasons given - imagine what might happen if ther was not actually an incentive to suicide???

The thing is I didnt use anything stationary but I still dont get many xp from my score. I put my replay file here just so you guys can watch
Posting files to get people to download is against rules of the forum if I’m not mistaken (you never know what the file actually is). Either post the clip in a way that can be viewed without a download, or post some screenshots.
Did you use a vehicle?
Were you playing against primarily bots?
Both of those will yield considerably less xp.
