Devs, update aiming, please!

  1. Add an option, that overrides “dofNearAmountPercent” to 0.0 for every gun:

  2. Change a way camera positioned in aim. Right now camera position depends on “aimNodeIdx”. And this is a discrete value, that snaps camera to predefined position, positions differs from gun to gun and for some of them perfect position couldn’t be found. For example springfield:
    Option 1 (Qake style) value 16:

    Option 2 (Almost perfect) value 0:

    Option 3 (How?) value 3:

    Option 4 (Okay?) value 4:

    Option 5 (Spaghetti noodles) value 21:

    Option 6 (Third person) value 42:

I think, its better to make camera position depend on linear value, so each gun position can be adjusted perfectly.

Well, it’s not looking convenient if you gonna use dioptric sights

For dioptric sight closer camera could be used.

No, but we still have an aperture sights

Good idea but it seems no chance to be updated.

i like this idea, it would make aiming easier, or even more challenging depending on how people play.

another thing they should do is make pistols stand farther away from the soldier, and be shot one handed.

1 hand shooting sounds cool.
I’ve tried to move pistols further, but it looks cringy because of camera on the chin
