Didn’t the Russians have an old revolver shotgun? Can’t think of the name.

Oh look more proto AR guns…
Sorry but i don’t like the idea of more “paper guns”. I rather see soviets with captured MP43/StG 44 if it is so important for them having an AR

I would rather have prototypes than “it doesn’t matter which faction you play” battlefield meta.

Well i don’t. One or two proto weapons for faction as long as they are gold order are fine for me, but if now all will be fantasy then we are playing something worse than CoD. Besides, captured weapons was something that happen offten. Of course, for me it would be way better if certain weapons are lock to certain faction, that’s what make them interesting for me, but whatever. If people wants to play with AR’s they should use germany or wait till modern war comes. But those are things won’t happen soon. Alied mains don’t want to play axis and modern warfare won’t happen soon, so better have captured weapons rather than things who never left the head of some desingers

I would rather have interesting fantasy with acceptable immersive level than proper true historical experience without any freedom or variety.
If you want roleplay, you can always create interesting customs. Especially since such behavior will be supported by devs in future.

Common captured weapons would be way more unhealthy for the game than variety of interesting prototypes or rare weapons overall. It would make factions completely blunt.

Argumenting with HA is just lying to yourself. This game isn’t HA for a long time already. But it still trying to bring up that immersive feeling.
And I think difference between each faction is still very important because of it.

“Acceptable Immersive level” by whom? Because that’s subjective. Keep adding things that never existed and that immersive level will disappear. Where is the limit?

I don’t. I understand the importance of gameplay and so on. But please let’s slow down a bit. Not HA shouldn’t meant Not historical accurate at all.

Never said this should be a common thing. Could be a premium squad, a gold order or something else. Proto guns shouldn’t be common either. That’s way i think it’s fine if they put some of the OP suggestions as long as they are gold orders and never a free squad.

I just presented my opinion. It’s not like one us right and other one wrong.

I, personally, would enjoy weird experimental stuff or weapons. And I wouldn’t like captured weapons, especially if they would have been meta. That’s all to it.

Yeah i understand, a lot of people thinks like you. As for me I’m fine with some weird stuff but not that much

Totally. It does not depend on us at the end

please no

I’m impressed that bullpup designs were already a thing in late WW2.
Although one of those (the TBK) was from 1946 based on the quick search I did here…

It is called MTs-255 but is post WWII

The TBK was already in the process of invention since 1943. A finished blueprint already existed in 1945, shortly before the end of the war, but thats right, for field testing, it was used in 1946.

The german conders mg for example, was never really finished, but the weapon was still added as an experimental weapon in the game nontheless, so i think the TBK could be added as one too.

Yeah, according to Forgotten weapons channel. STG-45 was completed by allies after the war for testing.
Only few parts were manufactured during the war.

So it’s completely fantasy weapon as well.
But I think it’s still interesting to have those weapons in game.

The Soviet assault troops we got at this event had these guns, maybe the Devs saw Sergei’s suggestion.
Glad to see this come to fruition. :sunglasses:
