Today I received this specially equipped elite SMG unit with the Beretta 38 (20 rounds magazine).
And now guess what I did first with this shit part? You will never guess. 
Immediately removed and replaced with an MP 40. You will surely not expect anyone to play with such crap. 
Drums are bad. 20 mags are superior.
Just flank it bro’.
But now I am honest.
MP38 is the best SMG in Moscow alongside MP35/I.
No joke. Both have the lowest dispersion there without having a 20 mag magazine (which makes the MP40 a downgrade. Df logic I guess). And besr part is the disperion is actually LOWER than the dispersion of PPSh and PPD (not on the level of dispersion M1919 vs. German MGs but still).
Ofc they are not the same level as PPSh (or partly even PPD) but those SMGs are the best choices for Moscow Axis.
I was really confused when i was doing better with an MP38 than an MP40.
Gaijin logic i guess, a new unlock having a 0.1 sec faster reload is a good unlock!
Edit: Sorry theres a 0.2kg weight difference, so the MP40 is 200 grams lighter.

Before the dispersion update and moscow axis stealth buff, mp38 have worse ROF,Recoil and Reload time, mp40 was totally better
After dispersion and moscow axis stealth buff, mp40 got heavly hitted by dispersion instead mp38 got buffed for counter the ppd38(71r)
Ironically the weapon wo have to handle better between the two for historical reason, is the one worst

Recoil, reload, ROF was always the same they never got stealth buffed. Dispersion yes
Upgrade one got changed, obliviusly normal weapon is not modified

You can transfer MP40’s from the 50 other campaign you unlock them on if that’s something.

The mp 40 was a simplification of the mp 38 because of the war, so it does makes sense the mp 38 being better, it’s also completely bs that the mp 40 has higher RoF, that is both maxed
still boggles my mind how someone thought that putting a beretta m38 at level 30 was a good idea.

Lv 29 in normandy, lv 26 in berlin, lv 27 in tunisia, the level is fine the problem is the 20mag round instead of the 40 one
Copy paste would mean same magazine size.
