DEV,s if you looking for un neft Semi autos, 20 more bullets will do

If else, stop reading it.

Now let start up, the semi auto nerfing around less fire rate has very realistic and very important in my opnion, but some people are complaying about how it turns to be uneasy to compent agaist ‘‘Assaults rifles’’ that apears later in the game.

20 more bullets will do fine, i know it will nerf Bolt action rifles, but betwhen us, there are things far more P2W in this game that 20 more bullets in a semi auto rifle.

giving 20 more bullets, will give more confidence to the shooter, has well some cabability to couter supression fire from LMGs. and outer ‘‘OP’’ Stuff. they only couter i see in this stuff, is that will reduce the chances of surving of very beguiner players. has the only weapow they got is a bolt action rifle

still. let,s check the comunity opnion for this un nerf sugestion.

2 more Magazines would be better. Devs are probably going to adjust select-fire rifles in an upcoming patch. Also, obtaining Large Ammo Pouches is now harder because you can only use Gold or Silver to purchase it. Think about it, small ammo pouches will actually be useful for semi automatics and they’d still retain a good amount of killing potential.

Problem is, 2 extra mags are unlikely to help someone using a garand or G41 against someone with an FG42 or an AVS.
I really don’t get the semi nerf. All it did was make end game gear more broken and worsen balance in moscow and normandy.
And it’s not even realistic. Why can I only shoot a G43 or garand at 200rpm, but I can shoot a semi-auto AVS at 700rpm? It’s an artificial nerf to brake balance.
So either we buff back the semis and maybe bolts, or we nerf everything else. Otherwise it’ll remain imbalanced.

it hardly was nerf for SA rifles, it was major fk up that outshines even tsernobyl in category of biggest fk ups of humankind.
There was 0 reason and 0 need for SA nerf.
Un fk the SA rifles and in compensation for humankind grant extra ammo for all rifles.

indeed the fire rate for the “assault rifles” is extremely high when they are on semi auto mode and that is unrealistic even though their fire rate should be a bit higher the semi-auto rifles due to lighter trigger

Instead of assault rifles, use SF (select-fire) rifles. There are only 2 actual “assault rifles” in the game.

That depends from gun to gun. A rifle being select fire doesn’t necessarily affect it’s trigger weight.

Imo both should have a semi-auto rof around half way between the pre-nerf and post-nerf rof.

I’d assume the developers are going to do something with “balancing” select-fire rifles at some point. Might be a semi-mode ROF cap, or just locking those weapons to Assaulters. I don’t know for certain though.

This isn’t an unpopular stance here, but I am totally fine with being the odd one out and stating that I’d prefer semi-automatic rifles and select-fire rifles to have a reasonably capped rate of fire in the interest of general game balancing. Considering that Enlisted has a very fast time-to-kill, it’s not really when you have a bunch of sweatlords running around and bumping firing to clear rooms. If ROF caps are too much for everyone to handle, the devs should revert the rate of fire cap and make it so spam firing semi-automatic and select-fire rifles gives a humongous recoil penalty so that there’s no incentive to play Enlisted like a G-Fuel sponsored Call of Duty streamed on meth.

You can safely assume that I’d be in favor of nerfing the semi-mode rate of fire on select-fire rifles to match semi-automatic rifles. If not, they should just make recoil significantly heavier when spam firing.

They should do it regardless as rof cap is plain out stupid. Like, we simulate that weapon is hard to control by decreasing it’s rof instead of making it harder to control.

I just don’t see why it was such a problem when it’s one of the most established balancing features in almost any World War 2 game. Once I’d unlocked semi-automatic rifles, I could see a nerf coming form a mile away and trained myself to be slower with shits just in case. I’m with everybody on wanting consistency, but if reverting the rate of fire cap will shut everyone the fuck up then so be it. However, it shouldn’t be so strong that low level players with bolt-actions are getting massacred helplessly. That is my major concern. I’d be fine with seeing the ROF nerf reverted as long as spam firing semi-automatic rifles with zero forethought isn’t a feasible option.

Definitely not restriction to assaulters, as most of these weapons come with radio or engi squads. Finding new ones would be too much work.

The problem is that this literally isn’t a problem. If you’re against zerg rushing sweatlords, then go complain about smgs. it’s not like a semi will ever be better than an smg at cqc combat. So the only thing this nerf did and a potential SF nerf will do is make smgs (mostly soviet ones) even more broken and spammed.

I wouldn’t put in that much recoil. That would be too unrealistic and cartoonish. Instead I’d like to see an effect where the sights misalign after every shot, which increases spread for the next second or so.

Then you have the issues of smgs (and possibly mgs) being too strong in comparison. And the cycle will continue.

To balance that, we could simply give all BAs 2 more hitpower.

That’s ultimately all I’d want if the ROF nerf is reverted. I just want everyone to stop bitching like whiny brats on the forums already. Devs need to make an intelligent decision and just stick with it as soon as possible so this discussion can finally conclude. I’m tired of not feeling as if gameplay features are cemented, when these things should’ve been finalized ages ago. It’s not fucking fun to face off against whales and sweatlords running around with FG-42’s, I’m going to feel concerned for future gameplay meta if nothing is done about it. All in all, this game needs more consistency. I do understand that’s difficult to pull off with asymmetric gameplay designs.

However, I can’t turn down having bolt-action rifles do a little more damage. The Winchester 1895 is so fucking gnarly, probably the most satisfying BA in the game (IMO).
