If I placed all my barbed wire at an objective that has been taken by the enemy, I can not dismantel it and thus can not build new ones. Would be nice if I could dismantel them somehow without standing right next to them.
That seems silly/cheesy. If you’ve deployed wire then you’ve used the resources, if you have time to dismantle before you’re pushed off the objective then do it, but otherwise, that’s part of the winning and losing - resources included. The spawn point has a broader game mechanic dependency which is why you can “pull them back”
But to magically dismantle resources remotely because the team lost ground, just smacks of a stupid gameism gimmick.
The thing is that even if you spawn with a new Engineer, you dont have new wires.
I would say the point with cheesy makes sense in a realistic game. But Enlisted is anyway not realistic. And even in a realistic game new soldiers can bring new equipment to the front.
That’s the bit they can adjust, once you spawn with a new Engineer unit, the engineering resources should be reset.
