yes good point… i mean instead of giving penalties we could encorage players by giving them rewards even if lossing a game lets take my statement as an idea
The current silver coin earnings are indeed not high enough. It’s a good idea to offer more rewards to those who perform outstandingly on the losing side.
yee at least the prices are not as bad as in the beggining of the merge but gain still to low and it must be increased to have better economy
No, the main issues are that (good/ seasoned) players tend to migrate between factions, especially during new content updates, making certain factions and BRs unplayable during these phases.
Not enough players? Just add another faction to the MM to split the playerbase even further.
Genius move.
Games that ban you for leaving by not playing the game are stupid and just shoot in their own foot.
Add new faction will also attracting new players
It would be a double-edged sword, no one can predict the future
I never understand the statement that says game doesn’t have enough player, since the merge we gets full 10 vs 10 90% the time
depends on the game i mean who would like to end with 1 player less? in a game where team coordination is the key of winning and plus is a ranked game? so tecnically the best way to avoid this is to put a penaltly to those kind of players
and we have to consider if you are going to play you will stay in the match and dont leave it before it ends
but again this is a casual game so a penalty like the one i mentioned is quite bad idea tbh
For a game that has only a few thousand concurrent players all year round, without any changes, the number of so - called excellent players won’t increase. Do you really expect so - called novices to grow? Adding a Chinese faction or some other new factions can attract new players. Maybe you think there will never be new blood joining.
What I mean is that we’re short of “normal players”, not those peculiar players who, when using a sniper rifle in the game, have the same number of kills as the number of squads they’ve gotten eliminated. In fact, many people quit the game because they’re irritated by those inexperienced players. Increasing the player base can boost the number and proportion of normal players.
welp… lets begging this…
you have very high expectatives for this game sadly i gotta say that you will loss every hope as you go into the depts of the forum and find lots of information that actually mention how DF actually is (basically lazy) i got to remind you that this game have alredy 8 YEARS and also on all this 8 YEARS DF havent fixed lots of stuff that at this point any other company could have even perfectionated to surgical levels
And i`ll give you a little fact that you will be noticing if you beggin to see the things in a detailed way…
If df fixes something it will also ruin something else (it could be a bug a mehanic or the game balance) at first you will not understand but eventually… yes
Perhaps you don’t know that due to the poor operation of the Chinese region of Enlisted, more and more players from the Chinese servers are joining us now.
They are adept at turning good things into messes. This is true for War Thunder, Enlisted, and perhaps some earlier things as well.
Ranked does not save from bad matches either looking at RS6 where at least for me it was not uncommon to have two clans vs randoms which in 9/10 times isnt really fun or “random” in terms of end result.
? According to rob, the numbers are a bit higher, especially at peak hours, not on WT level though.
If you refer to Steam, those numbers are limited since they only include Steam users which are not that impressive given it was “launched” there half a year ago while most people (still) use the standalone version, not to mention consoles.
Matches in most cases are always or almost always filled. The only issue is Japan that has limited population, reducing its BR brackets.
Yes, already so, but since its Enlisted, growth is really weird and results in spamers.
Dunno, if even you are not sure by saying “can”, it doesnt sound winning it all for sometimes that results in 3× new queues against one faction (Japan) that already has a low player count.
People tend to forget that a new faction means more queues to be filled. The demand for a Chinese copy+paste faction is low given its dependency of other factions to have a not entirely useless TT (and final content is still bad compared to rest) aka copy+paste (which is the one of the main reasons why we wont get UK or Italy as standalone factions). Also not helped that China needs a healthy Japanese faction that has not enough players for BR1 exceptions. It makes more sense to make subfactions but not standalone MM factions.
Maybe I just thought for a couple of seconds.
since the merge we gets full 10 vs 10 90% the time? , proof or it did does not happen.
Option 1 : blame deserter and punish them.
Option 2 : search why they desert ? Uptiering in br5? Bad mod ? Conquest ? Bad map ? Horrible team ? Player who just want an easy victory ? Player who just want to play in Tunis / DDay/ other specific map ? Easy loose ? Join a loosing game ?
Yeah that the right way to think
what about rewards for playing a match
2 match without deserting 1.1 reward
5 matches without desert 1.5/1.25
10 matches without desert 2.0/1.5
if you desert the reward multiplier resets
This sounds like a good idea. An incentive to stay rather than a penalty for desertion.
I radically disagree with all of this.
The games are completely unbalanced. The ‘join any team’ system no longer works.
Now all players want to play with vehicles. They forget about the objective and whoever is left on the ground has to kill themselves to win the game for them. Because most of their team are bots. And most of the real players on your team want to play with vehicles.
Games are often so unbalanced that they’re over in less than 10 minutes. There’s not even time to get to the cap.
Games are so unbalanced that you know you’re going to lose right from the start. You know that the vehicle players are going to get high scores and you’re going to get nothing.
That’s when there isn’t a cheater on the enemy team.
Who wants to play in a team like that? We should have the right to refuse that.
So I think a penalty system for deserters is absurd because it only benefits the team that has the most real players. For them, it’s easy points in a game won because you, on the weaker team, are forbidden to leave the game.
I’ll say this. In the event of a defection penalty system. I’m going to take a tank or plane and spend my time doing nothing, taking a few shots so as not to get kicked out for inactivity. Or take troops and just sit around sending air strikes.
