Why a traitor can build barbed wire our side and let no one friend unit can get in the point and harm them? Make it destroyable by friendly tnt and explosion pack or make it no harm and slow down friendly.
But then friendly teammates would exploit it. If you can just walk through it at full speed with no damage. People will just carpet defence points with Barb wire. I agree we need a way to destroy it. Maybe Bangalore torpedo or bayonets some have wire cutters. Just not to easy as no one would build it if you could a chuck a bomb or b drop one after being downed.
Something that does not require you to touch it but not something to far. The bp is a long stick with a long tube of TNT. Bayonets also would keep you at arms length. So quick chopping or a slow pole that can cut through multiple wire in a row. Also a pain when a rally point is surrounded by sandbags trapping bots. Some people use bots as just spare lives, some people.
I think allied barbed wire should slow down allies like it does to enemies but it shouldn’t damage allies.
I mean friendly should can destroy our side barbed wire swiftly using explosion pack or tnt. Infact you can destroy enemy barbed wire using explosion pack in game now.
I gleefully dismantle all those wires with my engineers. (The wires between the cap and our spawn. The rest is useful and I let it be)
Cancel the damage, but keep the deceleration effect, then the problem has been solved.
I agree that friendly barbed wire should also be easily removable by friendly forces.
