It’s not the first and I know it won’t be the last time, but I would like to hear if this has happened to you so I can write a bug report in this situation: you are defusing a bomb, you see that the deactivation bar is going down but the bomb is still going down It’s still activated or in the worst case, it explodes and you’re left with an idiot face

Are you talking about Destruction mode?
Yeah you have to defuse at least some % of the bomb to stop it exploding - I figure it might be 50% - if you only defuse it a little then you don’t stop it exploding - although it won’t explode WHILE you are defusing.

Saw it happen to someone else today, so you’re right, 
They had jsut started defusing with it just about to detonate, and obviously did not defuse it enough to stop the bomb.
I guess there’s a formula for how much you need to defuse it to stop it detonating
