There should be some tweaks for that gamemode. When you go to kill enemy tanks and apcs you will lose the point instantly as you can’t rely on your horrible teammates as they can’t def point for more than 5secs. Building rallies and spawning apc is the same. Rely on teammates = lose point and sometimes two in row. Matchmaking need to get reworked, as those people should be competent at BR5 and learn how to play.
Game only punishes defenders as they don’t get as rewarded with flanking as much as attackers, once you lose point greyzone will quickly destroy your real flanking capability, guerillas are barely viable as they can’t carry ARs and LMGs.
There are ofc some exceptions like overpowered planes of the Americans that they can circle and sometimes win the match through that way, Soviets, Germany and Japan can’t really do the same as it’s not worth taking more than a 1-2 of those planes. A lot of maps for BR5 Soviets are with large buildings that completely negate any plane advantage.
Shrug - just the usual lottery with quality of teams.
Defence at BR 5 is good fun when you have a good one, attack at BR 5 is impossible when you don’t.
Average BR5 Soviet defender team:
Crying like babies and leaving the match despite them playing for 5-10mins already. Give back my 0.14% of my WR you bastards
Last night I had 4 games at BR2 Soviet - first and last were complete walkovers, middle 2 were the opposite but I still got ~5000 pts in defence - best others were 1900-ish

I don’t get the people who desert when they aren’t getting trampled. Unless they have an issue where they can’t play, they shouldn’t desert and get replaced with a bot that has even less value than an empty player slot.

The big problem is that people always run away when they become defenders. A team of 5 bots can’t do anything.
Well they don’t want to turn into paste by arty spam, just hidding in a corner or crounching no longer protects you from it’s shrapnel. It’s a bad game design.
I think it would be better if the gray zone was reduced on some maps, so the defenders could be spread out more.
Capture points also should have large radius, with only one objective that would give a team +50% faster cap rate.
Be clear, now you can only receive 100 reinforcements after occupying one target, which means that any mistake made by the attacking side on one target will be irreparable. Do you still think it’s harder for the defending side?
