Now mg42 has the same reload time like mg42（100），all of them are 6.6seconds.It is too slow for mg42（BR4），it need to be improved as 6.0seconds without any upgrade.

It should be 3.5-3.8 seconds like the MG45 in the Reload time considering the speed they loaded The MG42 in WW2 and more so with Germany, which was a specialist with this weapon.
I’d rather increase its reload time than make it standard. It looks super stupid, straight form a cartoon.

Why would you increase it? Germany are specialists with this gun its their bread and butter. So it should be decreased.
I don’t see how this justifies stupid fast reload.
Also the game is not historical (unless Devs need is as an excuse) so this doesn’t matter at all.
Ill tell you how … The MG 42 was designed for quick barrel changes and had a relatively fast reload time with a trained crew. In Enlisted, the reload animation feels a bit too slow, especially considering that German soldiers were well-trained with it. Since it’s Germany’s signature LMG, it should reflect that efficiency better. Maybe they could tweak it by reducing the reload time for specialized MG gunners or adding a perk that speeds it up. I have reload perks already but maybe a new perk for MG gunners themselves.

Maybe because you are reloading a 14kg slab of metal in the run while ammo belt is dangling all over the place. Just a thought.
If I remember correctly, it’s crew could reload it in about 3-4s. Key word:
And in stationary position, not while jumping off a building.

Who the hells jumping off a building what is that to do with this topic. Yes a specialised crew i mentioned but the game could add a perk specifically for machine gunners like the way tankers have machine gunner perks. Someone seems to be clapped by MGs alot.
MG42 (50) should at very least get a slightly faster reload than the 75 rounds dualdrum MG34, because as of now, its not really better than the MG34.

I agree with that. Their should be a seperate perk for machine gunners fast reload. Other soldiers have fast reload but machine gunners reload machine guns fast thats thwir specialty normal guns they dont reload fast thats just a suggestion.
You already have reload perk. I don’t see a need for 2nd one
Dude, I main German MGs. 34 and 42 are my favourite weapons.
And because of that, I don’t want someone to take my guns and turn them into plastic toys.

I’d argue 34pt is far better than 42 in almost every aspect. Only the sights can be an issue but I got used to them.

I want MGs to feel like MGs. That’s why they are fun to me. If you want a strong gun, play meta equipment.
MGs are meant to be heavy and cumbersome to use. If you don’t like it, maybe it’s not a gun for you. 50+ round SMGs are also great and are much faster to use.
