Decrease overheating of AA guns

Overheating doesn’t make them any less good against infantry but makes them worse against planes.

Still waiting for proper AA models.
Something with wheels that won’t fit indoors and is anything but a shielded quad 20

What if the anti air was also a near immovable object that soaks incoming fire indefinitely? oh wait

I do appreciate the actual sights though, they work way better.

Yep, you’re right. They should limit the vertical angle, like to make it impossible to aim the infantry or near the horizon line and just being able to aim to the sky. I dunno if this is doable, but maybe that would be better, because they’re Anti-Air weapons.

But Muh immersion and realism since they were used against inf too.

I think they should take longer to build and have the engineer build the entire aa nest with sandbags and ammo crates etc. I think it would hinder the gunner from shooting at infantry and make so that they can’t build it indoors. That’t for the quad barrel version. If you wanted something that can shoot planes and troops you could also have the single barrel version. So you would have the quad for planes that deals a lot of damage but you can’t use it against infantry because of the nest and the single barrel version for mixed role but not so deadly for troops because it doesn’t fire 4 rounds at once

Single barrel version for that role?

Nope

Quad 20 mm or no realism
No immersion
No fun

Look at that happy engineer doing engineer stuff

No, AAA should be able to fire at infantry.
But it should come with downsides while now AAA is MG nest but better in every way.

Tbh I think the issue has to do with their resilience, a flak is like a stationary tank with a solo crewman handling all tasks, and backup tanks (rest of squad) waiting behind. Usually we need AT weapons to effectively return fire on them.

I think the ideal solution would be a 2-person crew like the engineer AT guns, gunner and loader. Loader is more exposed. If he dies, gunner has to change spots to reload. I think that would be a good way to introduce a weakness to them, without destroying their ability to engage both air and ground targets.

…I’d also be happy if they were breakable after destruction, feels stupid when people use them to block doorways (burns for ages)

There is a rather abstract concept called “compromise”

Nah
It’s too complicated for average forum user.

with that turret he clearly built on the spot in seconds instead of needing a truck to tow it into position

Clearly fake video… It’s not at the end of a hallway inside a building shooting enemy troops and doing 0 damage to friendly ones😆
