Deck function

I would like to have 2 or 3 presets (decks) of troop combinations for players to use, so that they can choose which deck to use when the game starts.
Just like the “decks” in Magic the Gathering (card game).

Currently, before you start the game, you choose four Squads to use (six for Premium).
Players do not know what game mode they will be put into when they join the game. When the game starts, the player will use the team that he or she has previously created in any of the game modes.
I structure my team to be ready for any assignment. But if you can have multiple decks, and you can choose this at the start of the round, then you can create a more specialized team. This would probably be fun!

For example, if I am the attacker in Invasion mode, I want to use Sherman tanks that can support my infantry on the front lines. But on defense, I want to ambush with M10s to destroy the Tigers. Infantry units can also choose machine gun squads with mines for defense and assaults with dynamite and TNT for attack.

While I see your point, I must say that I am against this.
My reason is that it gives far too much capability of min-maxing. Instead of requiring a player to have a group of multi-purpose squads, everyone will push even further down the meta rabbit hole. For players that are trying to play more casually, this is an absolute nightmare.
Its essentially asking for the entire enemy team to have the most optimal gear equipped every single time… That’s gonna be a hard pass for me.

I had never heard of Min-Maxing and Metagaming so I asked Google…Okay.

Yes, I understand your concern.
It is true that this game has already created a situation where the gap between advanced players and beginners is too wide for beginners to enjoy.
There are various theories on how to win, such as the need to establish rally points. I personally think it is more enjoyable if you understand the theory, but everyone has the right to enjoy the game in their own way.
“It’s a game and I want to play it easy.” If someone thinks that, it is natural.
It’s not good to have beginners who don’t know the theory being abused by advanced players, and I understand that adding more decks could make these situations even worse.

When the problems of this game are solved, such as the problem of matching beginners to matches where they are abused by advanced players, then maybe we can think about the decks again.
For example, if there is a co-op mode like in WarThunder, it would be fun for beginners to experience being the owner of multiple armies in a deck.

I’m glad you took the time to look it up and now have the understanding.

There is going to be a lot of things that need to happen before that is feasible. Just for starters, balance needs to be brought between offensive playstyles and defensive playstyles. As offensive rush tactics, grenade spam, etc reign supreme right now. Meanwhile, Defensive tactics only seem to work 1 out of 20 games due to fragile fortifications, not knowing where the next objective will be, and not having any time to set up. That’s not even to mention the imbalance of players in many of these games as well.

In the long run, I’d really like to see a “mentor” type feature implemented where advanced players can match up with newer players to actually help them learn to play better, and reward the mentors with some extra supplies for their time spent. (Based off of a rating from the players they helped.)
It’s unlikely, but it could help bridge the gap between advanced and beginner players.
