Pretty much that… why would you not want auto reload etc?

We really need this setting for any FPS. I don’t see how everyone here is acting oblivious. Its for when you have 2 weapons instead of a backpack. You could for instance own a radio operator with automatic weapons. German Axis BRV this would give you something like an FG42II [Semi/Full Auto (20/40)], Gewehr 43 (8mm Kurz) [Semi/Burst (30/60)], and an Artillery Luger [Semi (32/32)].

When you start reloading, you cannot switch weapons because you are stuck in an animation. Even though you have 2 other guns. This is extremely common with high rate of fire / low magazine capacity guns.

Please implement a setting to toggle auto reload on/off. For the people that care about this, it is absolutely miserable to have the game pace artificially slowed down due to lack of player agency (Being forced into an uninterruptible animation). Its 13.83 rps for the FG42II. 1.446s mag dump from full… So if you are missing any rounds, you will be forced into the reload animation at some point.

you can switch to your pistol while reloading actually (and i just tried it so maybe it wasnt possible 3 year ago but it possible to switch weapon mid animation now) so i dont see the point of turning off auto reload (done that multiple time already too)

also it gonna be close now

The switch isn’t really a reason to disactivate the auto reload, as you can force switch to another weapon, so it’s just an annoyance.
But if you want to empty your weapon, and, say, heal someone, it won’t work. You would have to either switch to another weapon, then try to heal, or you’re stuck for the entire weapon animation that started without any input from you.
