So you created a sandbox portal for sound mods. Nice.
But why do we need to find our own tools and ways to create the mods?
Thank god there’s a free third party tool that opens and rebuilds your bank files, but what if there wasn’t?
Then, each voiceover bank file contains thousands of sounds files.
Are all of them used by the game?
No, about 50% at best.
Which ones exactly?
We need to guess it with each update of the game. Play the game, memorize the sounds that are used, and try to replace them.
You don’t understand Japanese? Sucks to be you, modder.
Why don’t you give modders a list of files used by the game and straightforward description of what’s located where?
Why don’t you dedicate one sound engineer from your team to come once a week and answer a couple questions?
(I can’t speak for non-sound modders but I doubt they have it much better)
