I just got done reading a post were someone said they heard from “A Trustful Sorce” that you dont care that the game is dying!
You may not realize why this game is loved by many but ill tell you why i think it is.
Reason 1: Weapon Variety, This game has a huge variety of weapons that no other game has.
Reason 2: The Squad System, This game has a squad system that simulates a realistic platoon like system found in real war.
Reason 3: Realistic Factions, no “My Team” and “Enemy Team” bullshit
Now i will tell you why i think people hate the game.
Reason 1: No Arcade and Realistic battles mode, this is War Thunders saving grace.
Reason 2: AI being extremely unbalanced and Stupid, AI are a living nightmare on Pacific which is why many dont play it, as well as bolt action rifles being WMDs for bots.
Reason 3: Console Players, im a console player and i will tell you first hand how overpowered Aim Assist is as well as how Stupid the average console teammate is.
And Reason 4: would be matchmaking, im against this because im afraid this game will be turned into Call of Duty if the Devs add a Skill Based Matchmaking System instead of a Battle Rating type of system.
Anyway i think thats everything, i probably forgot to mention a few things if so let me know.

Well it is arcade game. Far as I know “realistic” battles can be found in custom games. No one just seems to care about them for a good reason.
Its just retarded.
This isnt exactly a game that intrests most intellect players.
Its just one of those pew pew bum bum games you play when ever you are too tired to play actual games.
It can be e-peen related for all I care, faster it comes the better.
Realistic battles doesn’t just mean, “No Hud” it means more realistic elements like (less recoil, slower reloading and movement speeds, slower aiming speeds, increased damage, ect.)
he means censorship. and this is specific reference towards harmonization mode that has US as circle and germany as square, soviets as red star. idk what japan is, but…
Some players think that the reality of the game is not important, but in fact:
Three years ago: About 50 of the 100 players cared about the real game
… Many people leave the game and go to HLL and other places
Now: Less than 10 of 100 players care about the real game

Therefore, the so-called “real game is not important” is completely the result of the game developers: they drove away the players who love the real game
I think it’s at least as important to focus on how to make the game tolerable for new players as to cater to the “100” oiginals. You can have thousands of maxed out meta-players but if it is an absolute nighitmare for any new player the game will die.
Don’t worry, they aren’t giving up on the game. Quite the opposite from my understanding. They are getting a steady influx of players from the Battlefield franchise. (At least on console.)
They are just going through harsh development cycles because half the playerbase wants an outcome on par with Battlefield/ Warthunder, while the other half wants the game to be more like COD.
I for one think they are doing a good job for how difficult of a position they are in.
no. majority of players want them to fix the game and not add new content. ffs you have basic bugs that have been in game for over 2 years and have been reported for a long time, but they are still not fixed. bugs like hitboxes being wrong, or matchmaking bug or hundreds of other bugs.
