Tbh I think it is the best axis SMG, after the recent MP43/1 nerf maybe even the best axis assaulter gun (haven’t used the MP43/1 since the nerf).
For a german SMG the recoil is high (I used only the Suomi KP26, VMP 1924 and MP35/I the last couple of weeks) also it feels strange how quickly you run through 40 shots :rofl:.

As a Hungarian I’ve already read a lot about the “Király”. (The designer of the weapon was Pál Király, and here in Hungary we usually call the weapon Király géppisztoly - Király sub-machinegun. We rarely use the Danuvia name.)

All articles and books mentions that it was a very good weapon - advanced recoil system, foldable magazine, reliable operation, high damage ammuniton. What I haven’t known was the high fire-rate! It’s like PPSh - with bigger bullets with more damage! Now it seems with enough Királys Stalingrad would have been a nice weekend trip for the Axis! :slight_smile:

Anything with more recoil than the Suomi is unusable for some people. This gun is great and anyone who says otherwise has a severe skill issue.

Thanks I heard people refer to it as “Kiraly” before but didn’t knew why, so thanks for the little history lesson :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:!
I did some calculation as I thought it might actually have higher DPS than the russian top tier SMG, it hasn’t:
PPSh-41 rof 1100 dmg 6,6 = 121 DPS
Kiraly rof 830 dmg 7,9 =109 DPS

Tbh I was quite surprised about the recoil when I first used it, but yeah I have been using MP35/1, Suomi KP26 and VMP1924 kinda exclusively in the last weeks. I got used to the recoil very quickly!

It ain’t a suomi, but it’ll do. (Should’ve replaced the berreta though, instead of being a new lvl)

on the way to get it, taken from the ground to replace the ppsh41 without ammo, love at the first kill is better than the mkb and the ppsh41 put together

It may be, but the two weapons are not present at the same time, only in Stalingrad. And in Moscow, the sniper mkbh was not nerfed. Certainly the scope deals more damage … logical. I mean, it’s less interesting there whether the M39 is good or not. The 39M does nothing to help the situation in Normandy or, where it really should, in Berlin. Therefore, I still don’t see the MP43 nerf at all as justified.
