I have just set up a custom battle with bots only to try some things out.
A few minutes into the battle I deserted it.
I was surprised to see that my achievements in those few moments were counted as finished daily tasks.
I’m pretty sure it was not that way before and is not supposed to be like this?
i think it does tbh i tried to do bolt action in custom and it count
it a good thing tbh cause doing those in br5 is quite suicidal
Yes that counts in custom but I deserted the battle.
I know we get some silver and xp after deserting (at least, it’s shown on the scoreboard screen).
But I thought results like event score, daily tasks, weekly tasks, were not supposed to count after leaving the battle early.
they always counted after leaving, it just waits until the match is over

You cannot get event points from custom games but yeah obviously the easiest way to finish those battle pass tasks and weekly tasks is from just doing them in custom games. I’m not gonna waste time in a real match trying to get 10 melee or pistol kills just to fulfill a battle pass task.
Yeah we can do daily tasks in custom, but I just really didnt know it counted even without finishing the battle.

Is the bug of getting achievement with custom battle with less than 5 players still active or not?
Only the “Complete 1 battle (or like 5 in top50%)” and “Win 1-3 battles” require that the player finishes the match.
Still better then Capture one point which requires either conquest, confrontation or attacking on invasion, while being one of main easy tasks it’s down to luck whether it’s possible to get.
If someone doesn’t want to play customs and waste their time they need to either waste a reroll or desert, peak game design right there
