Can someone explain how the three daily battle tasks work? I complete your three tasks everyday, yet I’m lucky if I am able to claim one reward every three days.
Very frustrating jumping through your hoops only to be let down when I try to claim reward and it simply moves to next task with no reward.
What am I doing wrong?

Free battle pass players are limited to free rewards. You can only get cards that are labelled as “Free” just above the card.

I did open my wallet. I have 13 days left on my Battle Pass. It cost ten dollars. Before I opened my wallet, as a free player, I was able to claim the same amount of rewards, one reward every 3 days. As a paying customer I still only get 1 reward every 3 days. What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you’re not confusing premium with the elite battle pass? They are two different things.
I’m asking because it’s impossible to have 13 days left on the battle pass. You should have 31 days left, since it’s standardized for everyone.

And the elite battle pass benefits are: 9 battle tasks per day (which amounts to 3 rewards per day, given the fact that each reward requires 3 completed battle tasks). Without the elite battle pass you will get only 3 battle tasks per day, which translates to 1 reward per day. On top of that, you will be able to claim all rewards, not only the ones that have “Free” written above them.
I think OP should post screenshot of his actual Battle Pass progress, so we can see how far he is in rewards and if it really is “Elite Battle Pass”.

I really like your game. Once again, terrific job by your Russian artists, they are so good.
Once you cut back on plane bomb spam, you’ll have a nice game on your hands.
For the premium battle pass you really just need to buy €10 worth of coins once, as long as you complete the tasks you’ll get it back and can do the same thing for the next battle pass.
If you really play this game very often, you should consider to buy one… I think that the few monetization elements that do worth.
