Daily, I play a round of Enlisted (but not always, it depends on how busy I am), then I switch over to War Thunder Air Simulator Battles.
Three times this week I have logged in to Enlisted to make sure I don’t “break my streak” and the Daily Reward For Logging In has NOT been a reward for logging in. It’s not a reward at all.
It’s a notification that I need to go complete some BS Daily Task (which, twice, requires equipment that I don’t even have access to, as a fairly new player), that I’m not even interested in completing.
If you’re going to entice me to log in every day so I can get a daily reward, then the act of logging in should have a reward. It should definitely NOT be “tied to completing” (insert daily task here).
The Daily Task already has a reward attached to it, so you’re not rewarding me for logging in - which defeats the entire purpose of trying to entice me to log in every day (pumping that Active Daily Users count for the corporate metrics - I know how that works) by…not rewarding me for simply logging in.
Steps to Reproduce:
- See the UI where it says “Tomorrow” and has a crate that is ostensibly holding a reward for logging in tomorrow.
- Log in tomorrow to get that reward.
Expected Behavior:
- Log in, the “slot machine wheel” graphic plays, a Daily Login Reward is selected and awarded.
Observed Behavior:
- Log in, the “slot machine wheel” graphic plays, a ‘teaser’ of the reward (1000 coins was today) is displayed with the message "This reward is tied to completing this objective “Kill 8 enemies using artillery fire.” You will receive the reward when you complete the objective.
Forget that, man! I’m not even playing my one round today because I’m so frustrated that I felt the need to come point out in the Suggestions Forum that the “Daily Login Reward” is not rewarding people for logging in daily, like it says on the label.
It’s a freaking To-Do list of stuff that I am not doing because I don’t like doing it. I have no desire to kill 6 tanks or figure out how to use artillery. I want to take my squad and go shoot some people, then move on to other things.
