amen, hell i had a match as axis berlin, i was level 5, where the soviets had 700 tickets by 3rd point and yet they failed because someone else and me placed rally points and made hedgehogs so they couldn’t easily get a tank down there
Yep - seen a game won by attackers with 0 reinforcements left before capping the 2nd to last point (capped, got 200 reinforcements - got the last one with that), and lost with 700 to go on the last objective - it ain’t over 'til it’s over… although there’s good bets and bad and you wouldn’t put money on those results in advance!!

again. his kills means nothing. none of them would matter as long as the enemy team keeps capturing points and refill the tickets.
he would have done much better defending the points and stop complaining about “uh german teams cant win”. not with that mentality.
One guy can stop a cap in solo. Mowed down two of our US squads. Germans won with a 2 sec (!) margin on last point. If only I did not miss that one shot…
In other case we were unable to capture first objective, tanks and planes plus heavy infantry (S)MG presence on flanks prevented it. The pilot guy just knew exactly where the rally points would be built by US, and regularly cleared the map.
problem you CANNOT stop cap in solo . You have to OUTNUMBER guys on spot. which leads to gypsy-wagon abuse of thanks or trucks . Also the closes you can build spawn is like 10sec of spriniting for spot . Once they get it - you cant do shit . Unless its 1 guys with no hp , and you have your entire team 1 meter away from the spot . And he’s burning
If you do not understand that killing invaders before they get to the point is important then you should jsut shut up.
To win a spot on defence you need to kill like 500 reinforcements per point , or 1000 on a first one, which is like solid 30-40 minutes of play . To win on assault you need to get lucky 5 times x 10sec .
Yeah the defence is doable , BUT the amount of effort defenders have to do is immeasurable and cant be compared to attackers

No earlier than yesterday I took part in a severe spanking of US troops on D-day beach, they couldn’t even get the first bunker but maybe 40% of the cap.
Granted, those guys either were full bots or had no darn clue how to play, but still it’s clear that Germans surely CAN win D-day invasion, i guess it mostly comes down to teams composition, experience, available vehicles and tactics (I don’t want to say the abused “sk*ll” word)
Which is all it’s really come down to for a long time.
In rare cases you might get 2 equally good or bad teams - those are probably the really good tight games either way!
I deliberately let the S word last because, admittedly, by spamming German CAS I can rack up insane amounts of kills with little effort just by carpet bombing / rocketing the predictable routes between enemy spawns and cap points. Available squads and equipment DO matter.
But only for players - if your team is full of bots then they are irrelevant- way back in hte CBT the number of bots was pretty much who determined the winner - most bots loses.
You could almost predict who would win in which campaign by what changes had come out recently to drag people to one side or other, or a different campaign… if you started getting more wins suddenly just check if something new had been released lol
When the first Berlin tests came out it became real easy to sin in Normandy as allies for example… all the “guns” headed off to das Kapital…

it’s not even about the experience at this point.
so you are telling me that you played d-day and you only lost each match?.
because as i can recall, in my matches, americans 50% time can’t get past the first objective.
and the other 50% it’s variable to the point.
but i swear, i haven’t seen americans win since 4 updates on d-day.
( on the other hand as americans, i won around 7 matches, and lost 3. )
so it’s the team that matters. but you can always compensate.
i usually build rally points in secured position, lay down mines, mg nests, and use tank whenever i can.
it’s not that hard as a german, and neither as american.
people just tend to forget to use what they have.
Most of the times my team also lose D-Day map…but Im glad if we can win that at leas one time.
The disappointing and hars fact is, that most of the players are clearly just run and killed themselves in the frontline. No too much thinkin, only just push trigger button and fire some bullet…team composition matters a lot.
About bombing. From 10 player, if I or some of you starts bombing with Ju-188 or A-20, to support ground units, that matters much (surely, if you are good with bombers, like OP). But the rest of 9 player cannot defent 1 single point, that match is already fucked up…am…most of the times…

yes yes, of course, it’s possible to win defensive on D-Day.
Just saying it turns into crazy kill counts, and caps are too quick. Sure, you can win quite often, but I’m just saying that map needs adjustment maybe, ya know? I just leave, if I run into that map.
yeah the map does need adjustments but high kill games means nothing if;
A) your team is mentally lacking
B) you aren’t there helping the defense with engineers

regarding the whole game, it’s a crazy kill count when you get heavy bombers, or teams with stacked up forces. action it’s the nature of enlisted.
just like in cbt, we had issues where you had your entire squad on the cap point, and was still capping very slow.
in this scenario, if no one is on the point it actually make sense that whoever is capturing that, has a faster rate of capture. again, no defenders are on the point, and must be punished for it.
at least that’s what i think and think based
i would like to add that engineers make or break games
