So I wasn’t sure if it belong here or in bug report but german team has been abusing engineer barricade to completely block off the first capture point (with a rally point inside for them) in D-Day Assault map
Wouldn’t be such a major problem if barricades could be destroyed with explosive (or faster with hands) but as it stand, it made an allied win absolutly impossible
Before I took a photo of the barricade I managed to get through by crowling in the barbed wire only to discover that even the corridor inside was full of barricade
You can destroy sandbags and barbed wire with detpacks. Only thing that is resistant to them is anti tank hedgehog, that would was changed so it can’t be put in such narrow places.
Huh, im a fan of fortifying objectives but det packs should definitely blow a hole in that, what bothers me more is that you said there was a rally point inside since building rally points near an objective should be blocked, though i dont know exactly ow deep that bunker is.
I didn’t actually see the rally point but when I crawled through the wires, I saw (through one of those small mg window) a guy spawn inside so I assume there’s a rally point inside
All of my past enemys had terminator fortress or i dunno, but my detpacks did nothing. Tried to nade, molotov, airstrike, and a tank too… And the barbed wire just “haha, thats all?”
And no, i don’t throw the bombs to different maps. In the middle of the fortifications, and did nothing
Like I said, it wouldn’t be such a big issue if the game gave more methods to destroy barricade, we spend all of our lives (20mins) trying to destroy the barricade, the germans didn’t even try to defend the beach, they just camped the barricade from their spawn (outside allied play zone), killing anyone who tried to destroy the barricade with their hand
Not doubting you, point is if this is a bug (because detpacks should work) it might be worth reporting it as such because while fortifications are meant to fortify, they are also meant to be destroyable, not just dismantlable.
just to tell you that bunker has 3 entrances the door,the destroyed part of the bunker and the ladder leading out off the bunker and if I am right you can crawl throught front part off the bunker but it is risky ussualy the ladders are reinforced with a chezch hedgehog and it is never defended.
Barbed wire and czech hedgehogs should not be allowed indoors IMO. It just looks so Fortnitey when you look at the insane barbed wire nests in those bunkers. Was barbed wire used at all indoors during the war?
