Cycling Bolt Action Rifles

Seeing that bolt action rifles are an important part of enlisted. One thing that annoys me is when, I have fired around, my soldier moves his rifle to his hip to cycle the round. Please make it so we can cycle rounds while aiming down sights.

Thats only for straight pulls/snipers in braced position. IMO

Pretty awkard and slow not to unshoulder your rifle when cycling (IMO).

One thing I appreciate about enlisted is they actually get the cycling of rifle bolt urgency right.

Alot of games, especially Mil sims are bloody slow on the bolt. As an avid Hunter, this annoys me greatly, but in Enlisted I am quite happy.

I didn’t think of that, but I hate having my sights on someone, I miss my shot, and I lose my sights on him to cycle the bolt. Maybe Gajjin could make it so if you hold right click, and fire a shot, it makes cycles the bolt from the shoulder.

maybe as a perk it would be nice

Try semi auto rifles. That’s one of the reasons why they were developed.

Haha :joy: the Germans and Soviets thought the same thing :joy:

It is, WW2 rifles aren’t particularly light or easy to handle. Cycling it from the shoulder is a really awkward thing to do, even if you do have the upper body strength to do it.

Just bolt actions ? Every soldier is reloading any gun as fast as guiness record holder and carrying and shooting with them like they dont have any recoil or real weight.
Every Semi auto perform way better and faster than real life counterparts.
Soviet produced 6 million ppsh and not even counting other smgs.
Total number of semi auto production of soviet unioun: just about 2 million

Indeed. They are a bit weighty. I personally like the weight, nice and steady aim

Ooh nice, I like the Lee Enfields but don’t have one yet. I have my great grandfathers M1 Garand though

Very jelly! And very cool.

Not allowed semi-auto center fires here.

Semi auto rifles are very good, but compared to the bolt action rifles, they do less damage, and in long range combat, are ineffective only downing enemies, not killing them.

But they have higher rof and are more useful in mid-close combat.
I’d rather have G41 than Kar when entering a room.
