I wondered, is there a way to replace the practice mode map like we could with the hangar, since both are local only?
Back then, when modders found out about the custom hangar feature, it was made with a special line in the config coding, which would load up the custom hangar instead of the regular one.
Couldnt that also work with the practice mode map as well? That it would load up a modded map?
I wouldn’t mind having the practice map being that one pacific island map with a airfield on it, that would be cool, like owning your own private island to practice on.
You could even practice carrier landings then.
Thinking on this more, a private customizable HQ map for each faction would be really cool, but I know a lot of people are tired of the recent trend of every game introducing a “Stronghold” feature for games that were never meant to have it.

it is currently not possible to edit the practice map because you’d need support from officials regarding the ability to edit a map similar to the hangar.
and quite honestly, as far modding goes, that has to be the lowest priority of them all.
