Customization of 5-7 squads * 3 BR setups

I have basically never touched customization because it always looked lackluster for me but now I have about 1.5k customization orders saved up so I thought I’d give it a try.

But what the hell?

Let’s say I want my German soldiers in the Ardennes to wear some kind of white camo.

I have 5 infantry (customizable) squads on BR 2, 5 infantry (customizable) squads on BR 3 and 5 infantry (customizable) squads on BR 5, and they can all be sent to Ardennes.

So I’m expected to dress up 5x3x(7~9 soldiers each)=105~135 soldiers just to make sure that in Ardennes they wear something like this?

Okay, I guess then 105~135 soldiers to dress for Normandy as well, because all BRs appear there? And so on.

And then you change that Assaulters 3 squad for Assaulters 4 squads and all the customization is gone?

Anyway, this topic is not much a rant as a question to y’all – how do you prioritize which squads get the customization treatment?

The first proprity I’ve identified so far is probably BR3’s SdKfz 251 squad because I guess it’s one of those that will always be played?

This is all so overwhelming.

Well that is up to you.
My engineers are always fine looking men, as I have no preset without at least one engineer squad.
Then one assaulter squad…
But it really depends on what you play and what you want. If you feel comfortable with a specific squad or weapon then customize it. Because: Why not?

why did i received a mention from this

anyway.

welcome to the crazy world of enlisted.

it depends what you use the most in the end.

but usually, " rule of thumb " ( wait for a goddamn fix to this shitfest )

br4-5 = buy only customization for stalingrad ( which if it’s active in your view window on the menu it will also appear in the bulge because… reasons. and then berlin and normandy.

if you play low br, tunisia, stalingrad and moscow.

if you play br3, you’re kind screwed because you’ll end up being in moscow, tunisia, stalingrad, normandy and battle of the bulge.

as it goes for me, i just bought cosmetics as i felt like it.

only one that has actually a full customization for all campaigns are usually the APC squads. because i like them.

and fully camoed or made one color theme per squads my volkssturm.

but chances of going in berlin are fairly low.

as it goes for the allies, it’s slighlty simplier as for example, both the US and USSR customization are somewhat shared outside stalingrad and pacific. and they have way less campaigns so…

my reccomandations are, wait.

don’t waste your tickets like did.
because it’s not worthed.

barely enough choises and those few do not even come with pouches for all weapons.

Same, I am confused. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

This is no longer the case. It was server bug which has been “fixed” several weeks ago.

Whichever squads I use. I got 3 for Low Tier, 3 for BR III, and 3 for High Tier. I plan on using this kind of set up for all factions once I get the Krauts and Commies up to speed with my Allies. I tend to just use the Assault, MG, and AT Squads for maximum versatility set up so I can take out tanks, rain hell, rain lead, and build rallies with at least 2/3 if not 3/3 Squads. I mainly run BR III for the most Enlisted experience possible and so they’re the ones that get the love and attention, although my High Tier set up ain’t lookin too bad either. Lot of maxed out M1919A6’s

Sorry I copied a sentence where you two were mentioned and then edited it

Well,

Given that I don’t play BR 4-5 Stalingrad, idk if I should do that.

But yes I am still surprised with the sheer ampunt of stuff I need to buy just for 1 “campaign” like Ardennes, which can appear on all BRs, so technically every squad I use on all presets must have Ardennes customization purchased.

Okay, one more point for everyone:

Which customization is actually worth it?

Does SS/peadot/panzergrenadier camo actually help in Normandy, for example?

I highly doubt that any camo helps. I am speaking from personal experience, but I never had any problems whatsoever to immediately recognize enemy soldiers.

the more green you are, the more advantage you might have, but due to the face and helmet, it’s sort of hard to really blend in.

as for the allies, don’t wear any camo over lone fighters otherwise you are guaranteed that some ape will team kill you.

but yeah, you just get cosmetics to make “drips” essentially. no real concrete advantage ( as it should )

mines if you are interested for some historical looks

i’ll start by saying that i’m sort of sorry only using pea dot.
it is lame.

but they aren’t giving us many other camos…

i lost these, but you can still make them if not mistaken:

I mostly buy helmets and pants because torsos are too expensive. I often dont customize all my dudes only the important ones like engineers and at gunners

After merge I customised my italian radio squad and then called it a day.

Will not waste my orders until the system is better
