Yesterday after many research and trial and error, my “crew” and I finally found out the pre requirement for a fresh new player to unlock custom matchs:
Attaint lvl 3… in Moscow.
Yes you’ve read right. I’m not even joking, it’s campaign specific. My friend first was interested in Normandy and as such started here… But no way to unlock CM, even after reaching lvl 5!
We had read somewhere that events were unlocked at lvl 3, and custom matches when first released were part (still are in a way) of the events tab.
Since Moscow was pretty much the first campaign of Enlisted, we made our friend try again on Russian side, and lo and behold, he unlocked it reaching lvl 3.
Hope this info will help new players, it caused a lot of hassle to us.
On another note, please allow password protected matches. Being more than 4 guys at once in a CM attracts other players like flies and my below lvl 5 pals don’t need to see panthers or ppsh41 squads just yet
