Curved barrel weapons for Berlin as a gold order

Curved barrel STG44. The attachment can be taken off, and put back on.

Curved barrel PPSH41. You wouldnt be able to take off the curved barrel on this one.

You would have 2 new firing modes for these. Vertical, where you will stick the barrel upwards from for example a box as cover.

Or horizontal, for example from a corner in a house.

The STG44 would be a lot better tough, because it can be taken off, has a mirror even, so you can shoot from corners or cover without peeking out. Since the germans experimented with this idea much more than the soviets.

Lmao ngl would be so fun to use x) peeking on a corner with an stg with mirror sights and a curve barrel :joy::joy:

I do think its important to note that, as far as I can remember, all of these experiments were more or less failures. While they could be a lot of fun, they should probably not be accurate at all when used with the curved attachment. Also, the more modern take on this idea, which uses a camera and a folding mechanism with a handgun to do the actual shooting and avoid curving the barrel is pretty neat, if you’ve not seen it.

I see that and panicked

Didn’t those barrels only endured about 25 shots max before being rendered unusable? :stuck_out_tongue:

This is a joke right, I mean of all the things ask for…

Why not? I’ll take stupid wacky experimental weapons over a bunch of fairly plain smgs any day.

Yes. So I guess if STG with curved barrel gets implemented, all it needs is one mag as it won’t be able to shoot more anyway.

This is definetely not a joke. I would rather have these unique mechanic weapons as gold orders than a reskinned SMG, SA, or BA. Look at the RMN-50. So fun to use

Krummlauf 30° for the stg44 had around 300 bullet lifespan.

After that would as reports state break the tip of the bullet making it a “shotgun” but without any type of accuracy xD.

Fun

After 300 bullets you get a full-auto drilling

Ooooh… I that case I want one for laughs! :stuck_out_tongue:

It was used Alot actually. The 30 degree version inside tanks and on the last days of the war

What experimental? It was actually deployed and produced. With reports of it bn used Alot inside panzer iv70, elephant tanks and on cqb defending berlin.

Was actually a thing.

It wasn’t a bad idea.

Germany simply at that times And how warfare was done on the foot didn’t had the right metals to make a strong barrel at the end of the war.

The idea was somehow well executed and actually saw service, but the desperate conditions / lack of metals to make a strong barrel cut the lifespan of the item.

As far as I rememeber reading on the reports about it.

As for the game, would be fun to have, not gonna lie, and probably fun to use. Something no game so far shown.

Some weapons here are so special simply because no game replicate them to this date. Making the experience unique above all the good points enlisted have.

I dont doubt it wouldnt be useful on some objectives.

so make a “remove/attach attachment” keybind available that can remove a scope, bayonet, grenade launcher, or this, depending on what is attached

U key like the grenade launcher? For example.
