It is unfortunate to see the current state of the game.
There are no players in the games and most are full of bots.
Either we have unequal games due to matchmaking, or we have games full of bots on your team.
The game has been in a deplorable state for more than two months.
The AI stops while they are shot, becoming target shooting, they do not follow your positioning order while you shoot, they do not follow the easiest route, they go around where the enemy tank is.
funny thing that i checked your last 25 matches and all of them were full of players on both teams(with maybe exception of 1 or 2 matches with 1 bot at start). MM is not liable for people deserting cause of various reasons.
well out of last 25 matches you had 3 matches with couple more bots than usual (one match with 8 bots and 2 matches with 4 bots) at start. also you had couple of more matches with 1 or 2 bots at start. those are not bots you are seeing, otherwise they would not be so bad…
As a German main, I haven’t had a win for a very long time. I’ve de-ranked twice already.
About to just give up on this game. I don’t know what they did because games used to be fairly even now all I have is silver players and bots in my games.
Not really, every now and then one or two faction will be more popular than the others, with all of the veteran player stacking these factions for easy wins.
From march to june it was both Germany and Japan which were dominating, since last update, both USSR and USA have been the dominant faction.
Btw if you ONLY want to play germany (which honestly you should not, but I guess that german mains are just too stubborn); go to BR 1-2, I have no problem there winning with the germans.

if you are playing on US servers, majority of US is on EST(~50%) that is -4 hours from GMT/UTC, so for those outliers you are playing in out of peak hours (or middle of night). if you are playing on eu/eeu servers it is even worse.
Anyone who has ever read my posts knew I BITCHED a LOT about the match making. Before they changed the BR level ratings, 80% of my matches were UNPLAYABLE shower rapes. Now, I still get the occasional shower rape, but not at near the same rate, so in my opinion what they did was a step in the right direction. Lets be real, there is NO WAY the DEV’s can ever make it truly competitive all the time. Before, most of my matches RARELY went past the first objective. Now, most for me seem to go to at least the 3rd objective, and I have had several go all the way to the end, which was rare before.
Lets face it, the game is several years old now and some people stopped playing because they got tired of it. Some people (both my kids) stopped playing because with all the shower raping going on it wasn’t fun anymore. Then you add in people deserting matches, obviously the game play is going to take a hit.
I keep saying this, but if you want to deter people from deserting, GIVE THEM INCENTIVE TO STAY and endure the ass kicking. STOP WITH THE RANKING system. People obsessed with losing rank will not waste time through an ass kicking, they would just quickly desert, lick their wounds and move on to the next match hoping it will be more playable then the one they just deserted.
Stop penalizing the losing team members with lower silver payouts. Pay them at the same rate as the victors, so at least they can stick around and hope to finish towards the top of their team and get more silver. If I trying to build my squads, then what is my incentive to stick around 5 or 10 minutes knowing I have ZERO chance of winning, then zero chance of getting enough silver to do anything with after the rape? NONE. Better to desert, lick my wounds and hope the next match is better.
Anyway, there are a lot of reasons for poor gaming sessions, not just match making, but there are things they can do to try and address it. But as the game ages, there will be less people playing.
You speak my heart! I have a thread running about the nerfing of the M91, best weapon in game, and highlighted the devs dodgyness in what they turn on and off at will to ensure free to play players end up getting smashed to ensure their payers get their points and wins. Im a patterns and trend man, and spotting “changes” to the way a program behaves is obvious. I can list all the “glitches” to ensure we have one arm tied behind our backs and a leg too! This cannot be just me, and im glad it isnt. From posts ive read on here doing research before approaching the devs with my findings and evidence from replays, i am not alone here.
Been playing for over a year now after finding it on ps5. Best thing since call of duty 3! Loved it but it is heartbreaking to see this, over a year, get stripped of everything enjoyable from it. Yes i am good, experienced well seasoned fps player, but this game is now more of a predictable struggle than it is worth and it is heart breaking fam. Truely is.
Too much now. I recently found a way around their ingame nerfs or what others may call ‘silent modifiers’ by controlling their AI’s on the battlefield. Yup kept it to myself, i had found a secret sauce! Lastwd 2 months, won every game i played with a ready army of 60 AI’s at best on the field at any one time. I went feom 9 game straighr losses with the odd token allowed win, to 14 game win strwaks and battle hero every game. I shot up 8 ranks in 2 months playing 6 games a day. Yup, the devs hated this outlier and yup stopped the secret sauce! How? By a tweak, a sneaky one, then rolled it out in update 220 to make it perm. Now we are back to the usual 9 odd lose streaks and the trick no longer works. They would have only found it by watching my replays and seeing how i was able to do it. No lie. Absolutely sure of it. This was to counteract their ingame nerfs of:
Not allowing mines to be dropped when defending, artilary taking 5 attempta to launch after it goes thru the motions of launching one wvery time, spanners and artilary soldiers being taken out first by AI, dodgy radiouses on artilary strikes, reducing ranges on scopes, glitching scopes and the new one now stopping artilary from being fired if your base is being captured.

I certainly would not argue with you about artillery. I have to try and call it in over and over and over again before it actually works, and 75% of that time my radioman dies NO WHERE near the battlefield as I try and get it called in, and he IS THE ONLY soldier who is killed. I have always thought that odd myself and even claimed as a joke that he was either killing himself or fellow squad mates were offing him. I have also noticed that at some point when the enemy is taking the control point, ALL the spawn points are pushed back so far that you cannot run fast enough to stop the control point from falling. I assume they did this ensure that the enemy will get to the next objective thus prolonging the game, however its sure is frustrating when your defending.
Exactly! The engineer and artilary guys are always first to go, no matter what!. Even if u leave your squad in a safe place, sure enuff one of them two will be taken out. Thank you, not just me again. I also forgot to add in the list of issues, auto targeter going nuts or not working at all, esp at close range with 6 or more its like it is turned off, players not taking hits as in shot 3 times and they still move, the ghost 2 second delay with no lag present, 4 second head start for opposition when defending (recent observation) and the classic can i shoot thru a bush or not, and my personal fav a tank blatting ya thru two buildings you know the indestructable ones. Wonder now if there is any point complaining to devs. I get it i play for free but to heavily outway squads with paid squads and paid players is creating too one sided whitewashes! Out gunned, and out matched. Cash grab?or just rigged to favour the payers?
Paying players use money to purchase grids or a small number of paid teams to make up for the shortcomings of teammates’ lack of skills.
