Been playing since CBT, and we have no ability to squad up with friends cross platform. In CBT we were successful by simply searching for a game at the same time, but OBT makes it near impossible to find games together by searching. For reference, I’m a PC gamer trying to squad up with XBX buddies. Also, incorporate a better friends system so that we can add friends to our lists from all platforms

Hey man, what is CBT? I’m a crossplay pc trying to play with xbox too. Also totally agree, there needs to be a way to squad up with your mates cross platform.

CBT = Closed beta testing/tester. I agree 100% I don’t understand why we are able to play cross play but not link up you can play on a team with consoles and pc player but not a squad. I’m on pc as well but I’m primarily an Xbox player but with the console shortage I have to wait for a console . I hope they add a link system like they did for war thunder so that I can transfer my progression from PC to the console and all my premium squads

It mostly comes down the Mouse keyboard vs controller. I watch PC streamers and they can look 180 in a second while controller players can’t as far as I know.

You can easily turn 180° on a controller extremely fast, but you sacrifice precision obviously. I understand the PC vs console argument, as I was a console gamer until 2 years ago, but it’s not worth it IMO. Too many players want to squad up across all platforms for devs to not include it as an option.
Easiest answer: Make crossplay an optional setting and call it a day. Either play in matches with console/PC gamers or turn it off.
