So. Some months ago, the devs made the announcement that crossplay was deactivated by popular demand. Might have been true at some point.
Yet, since the announcement of ps4 owners being able to enjoy Enlisted, I see a FLOOD (in my last match, it was near 50% of players) of console players in the matchs I play

What I suggest is to grant the same rights to pc players that console players have. To turn on/off crossplay. It’s really shitty to only give such option to a % of players and ignore the rest
Because I’m personally not interested in playing with console players and some might share the sentiment. Take in mind it’s not some unreasonable request such as “disable crossplay completely for everyone!” But merely something equitable for all, since console players DO have the option. Why not pc users?
Crossplay was turned off for a time, only recently has it been turned on again. I am able to turn it off/on in the settings, I do think pc players should have the same option
Yes, it’s really all I’d ask. And for the devs to be transparent about it, because they definitely are not. Last tangible info about crossplay from them was “we turned if off by popular demand…” months ago. Yet it clearly is not but they haven’t said anything about it.
The did say crossplay is on again when the game went into open beta (which was a few weeks after they’ve disabled it).

Yes. By default crossplay is switched on for console players to play with other consoles. You can also switch it to play with PC players as well, or completely switch off cross platform play altogether.
I know consoles get “aim assist” to help make up for the inferiority of controllers in this sort of game vs mouse/keyboard - but as per the original screen shot - they aren’t dominating anything!!
I did, it’s just not here for pc. I did read about when you use console, for xbox it’s somewhere where ppl can setup otions about xbox account I believe…
That people like crossplay or not, I don’t mind at all, in fact I’d never petition to make it completely disappear as numerous players have friends they want to play with using different devices.
I just find appalling that a company would grant more options to a group than the other, when both pay the same amounts (when they want, it’s ftp)
Have you played today? My Normandy games have been filled with the new PS4 players. Even with the 2042 beta going on it seems like theres a good amount of interest in the game on PS4. Like you said, I’ll take them over bots anytime!
Gaijin needs to rethink what it means to be a console player. Even the icon should not be a controller, while most console players use it as default, but modern consoles (Xbox Series X/S and PS4/5) all have the option to connect keyboard & mouse, and it would be on par with PC players for those console players if they want to use it. This is the case with War Thunder for example. PC players get mislead by the controller icon that represents console players, many of whom use Mouse & Keyboard on the consoles, so they’re exactly like the PC players. The icons should be PS logo or Xbox logo, and enable M&K controls so matchmaking can be based on that.
you act as if they wont add this you gotta remember that this is beta there working on it and it will be a future there other game warthunder was the same way for a min for console they added mnk support later literally chill
