Cross Platform play WIth Friends

Is it really that hard to integrate cross platform with parties?

I’m on pc and want to play with my friend that is on PlayStation, the game already has cross platform but i cant add those friends and add them to my party and play with them

any estimate of how long this is going to take?

Reason why they stopped trying to integrate them is because console players kept crying about PC players being “unfair” despite having insane aim lock for consoles. Sorry mate
