Lol, you’re right, it is, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who doesn’t speak russian should be forced to use the english forums. I don’t know if this forum has autotranslate, but if it does it’s garbage, and if it doesn’t there’s loads of people either being forced to communicate, in text, in their less than perfect english, or use some other translation service to post here.

That’s a good translator, but it still has it’s issues. For example, idiomatic speech.
It translates “когда рак на горе свистнет” as “When the crab on the mountain whistles” but it’s better translated by translating the idea or feeling the idiom represents. In english, “when pigs fly.” DeepL also has an extremely limited selection of languages, no arabic, for example.

Isn’t there already a Russian forum?
Have you run into many native Arabic speakers on this forum.
Or, DF/Gaijin could create forums for the top 10 languages for gamers

Not that I know of, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t here. This game has a relatively small playerbase spread out globally, for all we know there’s people from countries where Arabic is the native language, or any number of SEA languages DeepL doesn’t support. It’s not as bad for the russian forums, since a large number of people from Eastern Bloc countries can read/speak Russian, but forcing people who speak different languages and have a potentially limited understanding of English to interact in this language is going to cause issues.
There is, but a lot of them cross-post or otherwise participate in the english section, too.
I’m not saying DeepL is bad, just pointing out it’s limitations.
splitting the forums in different sub forum its not a viable option tho.

I agree, the playerbase for Enlisted is too small for that, but I don’t have a better idea. I should have tried to think of one before calling out flaws in the current system.
Honestly, they might have had better luck just incorporating the Enlisted forums with the existing War Thunder forums from the beginning, since those have much better language support, and it might even have spread Enlisted farther than otherwise, I dunno.
Like I said, not enough people from each place that speaks different languages, I suspect. I’d be happy to be wrong about that, since that would mean there’s way more people playing this game than I thought there were.

There were over 200 thousand unique users who took part in the summer event, so not that small. I highly doubt that there are many players who speak neither Russian or English. The in-game languages are very limited, Russian and English with partial support for 5 others.
I’m actually surprised that Spanish is not supported, considering the NA server and the fact that Spanish is the world’s 3rd most widely spoken language.

Im not asking only for Spanish… also Cz Sk is one of the most active forums on Warthunder
