Counter for kills with binoculars

As per title, whenever I melee someone with my binoculars it’s a great feat, so there should be a kill stat for it.

Would you be willing to share how you can melee with binos? I saw it yesterday in battle on the killfeed, but it doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Thanks, I was just about to ask the same thing.
I equip bino and try to melee but nothing happens.

I’m confident it’s a glitch but I see it pop up sometimes when I melee somebody with an actual weapon.
