It wouldn’t be hard to implement, already when you die, you die in first person. I’m going to keep bringing this up even if it kills me… the amount of money developers make from microtransactions is more than enough to get the development into enlisted… I want to experience the virtual reality of getting shot and falling over dead in first person… added in with the user sound mods… would be cool…
Maybe, but their code is so broken that every time they add something something else get broken or bugged.
If they don’t spend that money to recode and fix all the bug why would they spend time to realese a broken Vr version?
But hey, looking in Df course of action that could make sense.
I’d love to yack my guts out while dogfighting! Unironically would enjoy it in VR but the devs kinda struggle with the most basic implementations. See ±1 BR brackets
yeah that’s the issue, they let player test out updates… for only like 3 days… and nothing is given timed to be ironed… developers aren’t letting people fined issues in time… then update come out and we got a unpatched update…
Yeah, what they want to do with this game and what is Enlisted for them
In my point of view a mere cashgrab, when we have 1year old bug not fixed but they spend their time in pumping out more 60 dollars squad that people buy(lol)
Sad, Enlisted is a good game but we will never see it’s full potential.
I don’t even buy squads anymore, that last squad that I bought was probably the female soviet medic squad, and probably I unlocked those event squads… I am planning on getting a steam deck for my birthday so I can maybe finally have a way to play enlisted on the go… but considering how this update was a massive unfinished mess, steam reviews are practically going to put this games popularity under in the steam store… Also doesn’t help developers and gaijin aren’t being more open on what is taking them so long with progress on this stuff… also I think last gen was a mistake when porting enlisted to it… The developers clearly do not have enough employees to handle all these platforms to develop on…
Not to mention they have to deal with war thunder, on many different platforms… I don’t know what is going on behind there company but clearly they can’t handle it… I think last gen consoles are slowing down enlisted development progress… i think they should discontinue ps4 and Xbox One support… it holding the game back…
i mean as a desktop player, im not sure if i would want to see soldiers crab walking and having weird noodle arms from how VR controls work
VR is very difficult to implement, where did you get the stupid to say it’s easy? Moreover, it is expensive.
We do not see into the contract that DF has with Gaijin. Gaijin is the publisher and the publisher always has the final say.
Look at it from a DF point of view, why would they put time and money into a feature that only a small fraction of people would end up using?
war thunder VR doesn’t use Controllers, it a sit down experience. you still use Mouse and keyboard. the only thing you can do is move your head around inside vehicle which is fun. do the same thing with enlisted but you can move your head around from soldier point of view.
you clearly never played war thunder VR before., enlisted uses the same graphics engine as war thunder, It wouldn’t be hard to implement.
why do you think they have microtransactions? they make a boat load of money from people who buy enlisted squads as well as enlisted gold.
Sorry mate, VR without controllers is just… yuck. I haven’t played VR Warthunder either but if that is what it’s like I’ll stay far away from it
Hell will freeze over before i get a playstation OR PS VR
sucks to be you then
That is just amazing in VR.
I tried to play Enlisted in 3D once, my TV can convert non-3D.
But it was not very special, just did it once to try.
Even a greedy Gaijin could set those prices. And he can take 70 percent of the sale. DF made a strategic mistake by signing a contract with the devil.
It’s possible. War Thunder has VR support. Headtracking Support. HOTAS support.
