Apparenly I DO need swtich buttons like this coz beggers (yeah i literally mean it) dont wanna set thier own rallies and just use mine, which became the common reason for getting defeated according to my past 6 months’ experience. Sometimes ur failure doesn’t depends on how strong ur foes r, but how lazy ur teammates could be

Couldn’t agree more.
Rally points should should show red on map if player doesn’t want to share it.
Should show yellow if player only allow other players to use it.
Should show green if player allows both bots and players to use it

I’m happy that u boyz still believe in teamwork, so am I.
However, my suggestion just aimed for those who r just LAZY, which can be pushed to set rallies for winning the game
For people simply dont wanna set rallies whatever occasion it could be, such mechanism could limit them take advanatge of hardworking teammates(considerfing they probably just focus on kills instead of winning, its quite fair for them)

well, enlisted is a team based game.
your chances of winning and losing are based on your team. it isn’t a one squad army type of game in anyways but on rare occasions it can.
I can see that you’re suggesting something to hopefully make the game better by blocking out those pesky lazy players that can’t be bothered to make rallies nor to spawn in the original spawnpoint. But, we all know how abuse-y the playerbase can get and this feature might be and is very likely to be abused by players thinking they can carry the team when infact, they can’t.
On one hand, you still get points for teammates using it. It helps get people up to the front lines, etc. However, if you are having issues with so many people constantly trying to spawn at the same location, there is another issue to worry about. Either change the location, or set up sandbags along the way. The team surviving for longer would solve the issue.
On the other hand, I know not being able to spawn at your own point, or teammates drawing too much attention to it can be frustrating. I don’t think locking people out of it is a good idea. Instead: you should be able to place two separate rally points. One that the whole team can use, and one that only you can use. This way you get what you want, and teammates still have their spawn point.

Rallies are fine as they are. Yes more people need to use them, but blocking others from using yours - especially if it is the only one - will usually guarantee a loss. Would be nice to have a second rally if you have a second squad with engineers - i.e. one per squad rather than per player.
But if your team is bad and you aren’t (and you want to win) - find another way to help them. Use chat, ask for rallies - even suggest a location if you’re on PC and can use your keyboard. Maybe take a tank or a plane help defend the rally if it’s getting over run - help your team get off it and survive to attack the objective if nobody else is.
However - sometimes your team will be bad. Just how any game will always be.
Improved tutorials could help though - as would lobby chat/better social aspects like improving the friend list function to include chat/messaging/which campaigns people are playing to make it easier to team up with players you’ve worked well with before.

Most people play like they are the only humans in that battle (can’t blame them too much because that actually does happen and seeing it changes you) and don’t build rally points. In the meantime the rest want them reserved for personal use.
Just remove the feature if it’s so contentious. Clearly, no one wants to use it the intended way and developers are not adapting it to what players want from the game.

We all know there is that one dude that will spawn on Your rally point, proceed to shoot at enemy while he is 5m away from it and thus blocking it for all team, and 99% of the time will have 0 engineer score anyway.
His solution is stupid, but the rally queue is shit anyway, someone yolo suicides plane and can block it for 30s for whole team
Tell your teammates to build rallies. If they don’t respond and don’t build rallies then assume your teammates are all bots and either leave or stay depending on if you think you can pull a vic or not.
If they do respond, and its some shit like “build your own rally” or whatever then just dismantle your rally amd leave the match.

Maybe just give the builder spawn prio if they want it, that’d be much better. If I started seeing red “no you can’t use my spawn this game is all about me” egotards in my lobbies, I would likely need to be convinced off spamming barbed wire on them.
You don’t know that you would have done better than whoever ended up using it instead.

Ok so obviously, there would have to be some kind of option box for the engineer to choose rally type. Red, yellow or green as described in first post.
When I start the game Im always in an engineer because thats how all my infantry squads are set up.
So I pick location for rally, build it, and proceed to objective.
Then when I have to respawn with a new squad, hold and behold, I have to wait in a que because everyone on my team is trying to use it and there’s no other rally on the map.
So I end up having to use default spawn location.
Does this feel familiar so far?
I really feel that I should be entitled to use my own fucking rallies.
All the players whoring on my rally can’t be assed to build a rally so it feels only right to be able to manage my rally and lock it for myself if it pleases me.
But imagine that if when I respawn, I see another rally on the map, then I change my rally to yellow or green because I have team players on my team for once.
Barbed wire all around my Rally… You just made my day.
