I see what you developers are doing. you want me to spend money to get to the exact same level just so i can play on the defense. but you know what. that money could probably be used to buy an actually enjoyable game.
just find a way to link unlocks so switching sides or campaign is actually viable.

There is (somewhat). The play any faction box! Having it ticked on, my 2 sides are always more or less same lvl.
But I understand what you mean. It’s already slow for casual or ftp players to unlock things, it can get redundant.

ticking that box basically slows down your progress by 2. and you still unlock the same shit.
“hey do you want to dedicate yourself to one team so you always unlock new stuff or do you want to split your time played so you can unlock the same stuff for both sides”
like warthunder is a special game. a one of a kind in a way. but this? no way. this game has games that do the job way better. the developers havent developed enough braincells to know that people are more likely to spend money if they enjoy a game. their tactic of squeezing out money of their playerbase works but just yeah dont. if you send money in this game. just. stop. buy a better game
… But I like this game… And I’m a whale of sorts. The only reason why I’ll wait to buy even MORE premium squads is that we can’t change their squad composition.

I am trying to be reasonable suggesting viable things. this is a free game it has to be profitable but it just tries so hard to be profitable it just fails. look at war thunder. there you always unlock new vehicles. the only time vehicle unlocks are repeated is when another nation copies a design. and thats acceptable since its supported by history in a way. war thunder is still painful. i used to play it but now everytime i open it i look at the repair cost and go “no” then i just contact my friend and we play games such as far cry 5 for 7 hours straight.
and i can guarantee i did have a way better time by doing that than i could ever possibly by playing war thunder.
i swear if they add it so you have to pay for life insurance for you solder im just. no dont ever. but im so sure that you can find better ww2 games for the price you can buy premium for
Its not realistic in the sense youre on another planet. But try planetside 2. You can go anywhere on the 50 mile square maps you want. Provided you dont get killed and can do anything you want. And all the weapons are well balanced. You just get different types that are good at different things, so you can adjust them to your play style. Its cheesy. But no one has the upper hand. If they cheese you. Do it to them. They dont have safe spaces except the spawn rooms. Which you cant camp from. And the starter weapons can easily compete with the others. And if everyone wants to. They can all jump in a tank of aircraft. Do whatever youre capable of. PlayStation is practically dead. But you can have hundreds and maybe thousands on the map at same time. Open world too. No matches. Just a constant raging war

Aaah Planetside…
Still going strong, that game is… Brutal!
Might return to it someday. 100x better than any battlefield since the woke bf"1".

I see you’re trying to understand how Gaijin makes decisions.

Fails for you and I get that.
There is no one size fits all game … WW2 shooters are a crowded market … Enlisted has it’s niche but in the long run will it continue to attract new players while at the same time holding on to veteran whales ??
Only Time will tell
I love it. Its hectic as. Bullets flying eveywhere. Id still be playing it, but the PlayStation version is pretty dead, and i dont have a pc. It was great having 4 or 500 people from 3 different factions trying to conquer the same spot. Insanity ensues lol but its alot of fun. And for everyone else. You earn a point for every 250xp you get and the most expensive weapons cost 1000 points (Certs) and when you get that much, you can pick any weapon you want. And there is at least 100 per side to choose from. No locked weapons except for the robot faction. And their weapons arent better. Just different
Is no one going to point out GTAV? They have been gouging players time and wallets for years. Infact you STILL pay the full retail price $69.99 (or whatever) for the honor of being nickled and dimed online for the same 10+ year old game.
So I guess playing an awesome, new, free
game is
As much as Rockstar grinds my gears with how they treat their online games and respective communities, this is actually untrue. GTA5 has been frequently on sale for like 5 to 10 bucks and RDR2 offered an online only copy of the game for a fiver at one point. As bad as Rockstar is, Gaijin is far, far worse.
Well this game is permanently on sale. Forever. For the price of 0 dollars.
I don’t like paying for a product for the
honor of micro transactions. Rockstar uses the F2P arrangement, but forgot they already made me pay for the game?
I have $0 invested in Enlisted for 100+ hours of fun so far. Not even expected to purchase a new “super edition” for when I upgrade consoles. It is also free.
So in conclusion some people might be alright paying full price for the dildo that f’s you. I’d rather get f’ed for free.
I’m actually with you there. Also spent 0 dollars on Enlisted and would also prefer to get fucked for free.
