or a dragoon Cossack rifle that was supplied without a bayonet, had a weight of 3.9 kg, a length of 123 cm, a barrel length of 73 cm

or a 1943 Simonov self-loading carbine

in general, they would look great on the Russian-Japanese front

I thought they fought alongside the Germans?

During World War II, Cossacks fought for both the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany:

  • For the Soviet Union: Cossacks were valued for their scouting and reconnaissance skills.
  • For Nazi Germany: Tens of thousands of Cossacks fought in German uniforms, occupying Poland, Yugoslavia, northern Italy, and conducting anti-partisan activities. They defected to the German side for their love of their homeland and the cause of a second Russian Civil War.

like a lot of groups they fought for both, the first pick shows German emblems but the last are clearly Russian uniforms

I almost suffocated. Do you even know who this is? 1st Cossack Division of Helmut von Pannwitz. In the future, the SS division. They were famous for robberies, rapes, torture. This was, as you put it, ā€œanti-partisan activitiesā€.

These are the only ones we are missing in the game.

really the only ones, yes of course that was my suggestion how silly of me Nazy is spelled S-O-V-I-E-T Soviet. i mean a silly mistake maybe i should have said, Russian, USSR, Commies, Reds, Ruskies, Comibooes, you get the idea.

also its a picture did i mention them by name did i in any way imply that unit. besides the picture please show me where i did so i would love to see it. as for them being the only ones tell me which ones are in game and i will see if they are the only unit left. i mean so few cossacks fought in the war that unit must be half of them by them selves.

listen friend. You suggested Cossacks for the USSR. BUT, in the first picture there are SS collaborators. In the third picture there is the Russian Empire.
Can you be a little more attentive?
And I wouldnā€™t like to see the Cossacks for Germany. They are all a bit criminals.

i was focusing on uniforms not factions, and again i said soviet for the cossacks.
You know giving them A soviet gun because that is just what a german unit would need and you know when asked saying soviet.
that you focused on a single photo is youre own fault, as for being criminals just about everyone in the war is.

UK, US, France, Germany all colonial powers
USSR invaded finland in the winter war and allied with germany to attack poland
the us imprisoned Italian, Germans, and Japaese in camps for being from said countries.
well Germany could be an entire book so leave it at that
Italy invaded ethiopia and used chemical weapons,
Japan did horrible things to china nanking in particular and still deny it celibrating war criminal, korean compfort women, muder of allied prisoners in gruesome way,
the murdering of ā€˜collaboratorsā€™ and ā€˜insurgentā€™ retaliations on both sides the bombing of civilians.
WW2 was just about as ugly as anything in 40K great avatar by the way, but no unless i researched it i donā€™t think i would sugeSSt anything from the SS.

As for the russian empire the soviet union is not much older than ww2 itself, so the empire was around not long ago still possibly being around in some places and the union started with a civil war the uniforms and tactics as well as weapons would still be used in places, you are acting like it was a pick from around the period of the civil war (us) or the american revolution. but fair is fair i was mainly looking at the hats to be honest.

Thatā€™s why Iā€™m reporting to you. Comrade Faust, youā€™re mistaken. The first picture is not a Soviet uniform. The third picture is not a Soviet uniform.

It sounds nice, but I was talking about specific army units. You just dumped it all together.
Just for the future, be careful. Be more careful when choosing reference pictures. I have nothing more to tell you.

yes under each picture i wrote brave soldiers of the motherland, if you look real close you can see it.
and again you are acting like the russian empire ended fifty no a hundred years before ww2 started in 1939 (which honestly with the second sino and winter war seems wrong somehow)
if you can nit pick me i can go right back, again with youre love for the raping torturing murdering german cossack i mean why would you focus on them i feel real passion, real love in the air.

Well, I wonā€™t bother you.

well good luck on the battlefield and may we meet as allies and enemies in glorious combat
