One major concern that is brought up time and time again in opposition to the coming update is the fact that certain event and premium squads will be placed in historically inaccurate settings by matchmaking. I find this to be a valid concern, as seeing Moroccan auxiliaries on the beaches of Normandy is a major historical inaccuracy and immersion breaker.
To address this concern I propose that Premium and Event Squads get access to some free customization options for each campaign so they can at least blend in with their settings better. This would allow premium/event squads to maintain at least a somewhat unique appearance when in campaigns they should not exist in. This would give players the option to still make their squads look good and setting appropriate without excessive customization costs. benefitting everyone they play with.
As much as I would like to see this or a form of this implemented, the snail loves coin. Those customization orders provide plenty of coin.
I think just in general we should just be able to customize Premium and Event squads just like all the other squads. The game is a little funky now because some Premiums and Events are customizable but others aren’t. For example, the Event Japanese Rifleman squad aren’t customizable and I’ve always thought it’s silly the entire squad is wearing officer caps. I wanted to make them look more like traditional uniformed soldiers to match their flag draped rifles
Give the premier team an outfit… That’s a good thing. If there is a problem, it is whether the women will be given costumes as well. They would have to create costumes for the Soviet female soldiers, since the only assets that currently exist are costumes for men. And that is costumes for the four seasons.
Are they going to do that or not? I would love to see them do it, but I don’t hold out much hope…
But if they are going to have costumes for Soviet women that would be great. We would love to have costumes that can dress our female soldiers beautifully.
And if costumes for women are created, then the number of female soldiers may be increased to make good use of those assets…, by new premier teams, gold orders, etc. This would be welcome.
Also,If they do it, I would like them to fix the funny shoulder bones on my “Night Witch” team.
Look at their strange shoulders. Are they Camino? It is very creepy.
