Maybe KeoFox gonna kill me, but i gonna try again. great ideas must be in Fan for while before they die.
has you can see helmets have a bronze order cost has well. that means they actually give you bonuses, in case you don’t know helmets in WWI and WWII where produce to halt damage from explosives, particular splash damage.
Camouflage is already quite debated in the forum, making ‘‘cosmetic cards’’ become something useful has practical gear, but that’s not all they can do, they can also provide some bonuses that effect gameplay, of course whit a extra cost in orders.
So, a helmet ‘‘hat’’, would give 25% less damage from Grenades, if DEV,s don’t want to make this suggestion NOW, save this great suggestion when AI use more explosives like throwing Grenades by themselves.
Just to keep a healthy P2W, make a VERY VERY SIMPLE helmet that only cost 2 Bronze cards, probably whiteout any camouflage potential. While more elaborated helmets cost also ‘’cosmetic cards’’.
Fresh recruits will always come in basic hats such has this one.
maybe in Vietnam theatre (hope soon because i love a AK47) we might get some Sirius camouflages. like this one. Snipers players gonna be proud. Maybe

Damn better start runing
mouse wheel go down down.
It is true that many hats (some helmets included) do not protect you from damage. In Moscow, the default axis hat and helmet do not work… if you want a working helmet, you’ll have to buy one from the cosmetics.
But probably the most practical gear is the soviet steel bib. It reduces all damage to the mid-body by 10%.
(You can see all body parts hit multiplier and how some cosmetic items affect those multipliers here)
Edit: wait, I think I misunderstood your post. You’re suggesting that helmets do additional protective things? I think that might be interesting, but damage to the head is already such a high multiplier that reducing it probably will not do very much. But maybe Germans get something too for their bodies, since soviets get steel bibs
I clicked on this thinking it was going to be just another plea for cosmetics that had no actual use.
I was pleasantly surprised.
I think you are honestly on to something here. That said, I think that the cost of cosmetic cards should be reduced for these items, and the stronger variants cost silver orders rather than just bronze.
Wow surprised pony noises i think this is a bit overboard
