I’ve got asked by friends a lot of times if there is cooperative gameplay in Enlisted. They wanted to know if it is possible to take control of a plane together like 1 player is the pilot and takes control of the flight and movement part and the other player(s) take(s) a gunner seat(s).
I can even imagine that this could be really much fun in a tank.
This would be a great way to get more players engaged in Enlisted since a lot of people are loving coop things. In my case my friends are lazy stoners that don’t want to take care of the moving part all of the time. Instead they want to sit down sometimes in a match, smoke dope, drink coffee while aiming with the mouse and occasionally pressing a button on the keyboard.
They are not hardcore like us who are storming the front until their pinkies break
Another thing I really would appreciate and that would increase the fun of grinding after the battlepass ends:
Give us a RANDOM reward after we have finished the given line of objectives and rewards. I love it that you can repeat the last X objectives of the battlepass. However it get’s really repetive and a random reward thrown in that might even give you a small chance of getting a gold vehicle or troops order in return would increase the fun of grinding even more.
What are your thoughts?
Don’t forget that the coop thing should be optional. Like your friends in your lobby are enabled to join your Attacker or Tank Squad from within the respawn screen insgame and the owner of the squad could even refuse the inquiry. When dooing a coop trip the team loses only half the reinforcement points for the player who is joining the squad.

not possible to co-op a plane but it is possible to co-op a tank and it’s very damn fun to do so

I know it’s possible in a tank already but this could be implemented way better with an option in the respawn screen to spawn in the tank at the beginning without the need to sort out AI soldiers.
However having this kind of ability in a plane is what I’m really aiming at. This has to come with a “join option” in the respawn screen anyway
I’m glad you like the idea and that you already enjoy the coop tank possibilities that are given today

The only way I’d honestly be okay with this is if they subbed in an AI squad as well. Because if 2 separate people are in one plane or tank, you are effectively removing one player from being an independent force in the game.
I’m all for Co Op anything, but I also don’t want to handicap the team doing it either.

I’d love if coop in vehicles was simplified. Rn you need to have losses in your tank squad for a pal to join. Or a nobody joins when you don’t want to and park your tank nose down in a trench…
Also now that tail gunners get added, would be great to have a pal use it. Like in H&G in the tiny biplane… it was mindless fun.

You’re talking about an AI squad that plays regular in your team and make up for the reduced forces on ground… right?
If so that is indeed a great idea on how the coop feature could be implemented without balancing problems. The Ai Squad enters the battlefield except for 1 or 2 guys that get substracted cause they are in the plane.
Exactly!

Right on the money.
I’m totally okay for people sharing vehicles , I think it could be cool. Especially if you think towards the future.
Imagine flying a Paratroop plane that you land and load up with your buddies paratroop squad and then you have to fly him to a spot to jump. Then make it so the only way he can respawn is at that airfield.
But anywho, we do need to sub in an AI squad on the ground only to make sure we don’t negatively effect the team when 2 people are in a vehicle.
Imagine.
Imagine flying as a paratrooper with your buddies. In a very large map making it worthwhile. While ground troops are using apcs because of the distance to reach a suitable place to build a rp. While the other 30 enemy players squads (big maps, many people!) Are defending like animals stuck in a corner. Dangerous animals.
Imagine.
