By now most of people is abusing the “almost no CD” on using radio operator arty
inside 100 kills, 80 are from arty’s, make it like 2 mins or so EACH side CD or even more.
when the game start not so many radio operator around, but now, is like full of it, and the meta is bomb , spawn again, call another arty, and so
Even there 2 mins is NOT enough of a cool down. Just like the amount of splash damage from the Arty is over powering
Man yall want a bigger cool down before the obt it was 6 min the current 3m or 30 secs is just fine it doesn’t get that many kills just concuses the enemy which it was meant to do kinda either kill them or deter them it works just fine
Problem is the 3 mins CD is applied on the unit that used it, not in all side faction, and must be like 6 mins or so
No, the arty is not that powerful.
When your position is about to be striked by the Arty, a huge red circle will appear on the map. In addition only the radioman squad has an option to call in the 30 second artillery.
Giving arty cooldown of more than a minute would render them useless.
Maybe upping it to 45 seconds or giving a more clear indication that this area is about to be striked.
I’ve never gotten anywhere near that - 20 kills is my best - are you sure you aren’t confusing htem with mortars??
Mortars I can get 50+ with fairly easily
Not seeing anythging odd ther - watched for about 5 minutes - he got about 6 arty kills and 14 with MG and sniper - defending in Normandy that’s pretty moderate… plus he’s conducting a very active defence moving among several positions…
typing this he’s got 3 more kills - last one I saw with a G43… looks like perfectly reasonable play to me - what’s your problem?
PS -now using a Breda from the squad - mostly killing bots standing around looking dumb - again good play… not jsut sitting in 1 spot waiting to be seen and killed - you should take lessons not dump on him!
They just don’t seem to like the head shaking its too realistic for them
Ok maybe the Arty damage and splash is ok, It has to be the Mortars I keep hearing then, I know in Todays world they can be fired pretty fast on one tube; but in World War times it took forever; and in the game something is a miss when a guy sits at a ammo point and just fires one every second he is alive
sometimes it is too often and sometimes it is not at all … and by the way, I would like to steer the artillery fire myself, just like from an anti-aircraft gun
