FG42s could use 10 round mags.

Fun & worth getting squad concept: BR-4 SNIPER SQUAD

2 Engi
2 Snipers
1 Radioman

All soldiers -2 red +11 green (very good for the 2 engineers & makes the snipers nicely mobile)
All soldiers have 1 modified FG42 with 10 round mags, very small recoil & high precision.

This squad offers a highly unique weapon, fun gameplay & avoids usual design mistakes of gaijin.
It has good, flexible BR4 gameplay, especially thanks to the 2 engis, and can keep up at BR5 when edited well by the players.

historical setting: anything that remotely fits & has a cool uniform. preferably something with leaves hanging around & nice cammo, as thats very rare for german squads.

edit: some improvements & clarification. this is supposed to be a sniper squad bc gaijin so far produced only ass sniper premium/event squads. thatswhy some of the usually unnecessary nerfs, like the -2 red.

If you find such FG42, sure.

all first fg42 models used 10 rounds and were more precise than the current TT ones. enlisted nerfed FG42s by giving them ahistorical dispersion.
the only-semiauto-rule is to avoid anyone whining “its too strong for br4 with full auto”.

I meant, semi-auto only.
I know of the 10 round mags.

Dispersion as a whole are purely made up numbers with no logic in them.

Well, in his defense, AKT is a 10 round full auto rifle in BR4.

Not that this should be normal imo…

It would be just AKT-40 squad V2.

I highly doubt they would do something like this:

Maybe they would add engineer and AT Soldier, since that’s recent powercreep that came with Chinese squad.

Do not worry.

Premium AKT are br4… They’re SF rifles with 10 rounds mags

And 9 men.

AKT’s stats are very bad, not comparable to FG42 at all.

I’m not comparing stats, just saying there’s SF rifles with 10 rounds magazines in br4.

Have you compare it to FG42 (10)?

I guess not, since it’s still not in the game.

You can actually make two version of the game, with one being pretty bad and other being quite good

Vanilla MG42 vs MG42 early is great example of that.

i find my self never having enough paratrooper squads despite having an entire preset.

Well, if we try to make it look like AKT (low damage and bad recoil), people will start protesting that it’s not historical.
